I don't know if I've ever seen a slow moving crime-drama just flew by in an instant. The storytelling ws one of the best I've seen. I could constantly feel something brewing beneath, and every word, every sentence was meaningful, and powerful. I was closely watching every minutes of it, and that's a very rare occasion for me. For some reason, time was passing quicker than watching a fine blockbuster, despite being much slower. I didn't find the end so bad as other reviews, but still that's the only reason it's a 9 for me.
Hence the character-driven theme, it wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for the main actress's absolutely haunting performance.

The story is great, the concept is original, they really nailed their atmosphere too.
But Jim Caviezel. I just can't get over the fact how bad he is. Probably the worst I've ever seen, the main character from Arrow is the only competition that I've seen. Not a single facial expression for seasons, not a single believable line delivered. And that paired with the uniqe play of the others, especially Emerson, made the scenes really cringeworthy. I almost quit the show its sooo bad. But the plots are really good. If the show was just a hair worse, I'd quit watching. I don't know, what they were thinking with Caviezel.

This is the best show in its genre I've ever seen. I've never bingewatched a crime show like this. It has everything. I was constantly thinking: this is perfection. The characters, the twists, the pace, the bravery, the atmosphere, everything. And all this in galician. Unbelievable. I cannot find the words, and I'm not even a fan of this genre.
The two seasons are quite a bit different, but still flawless. I really think this show has set a new standard in its genre. I'm happy that it is galician, but I'm also a bit sad, it reached very few people, probably due to the language barrier. If it was made in the US or at least in the UK, it could have been a big hit.
