Cried all through but happy I watched it. There were the characters and performances of Garfield and Worthingthon would forever endear close to my heart. I never watched a war based movie so finely directed. Gibson is clearly legendary.

The movie made me cry and reflect on my life several times in its running time. I don't want to cause no spoilers, so I figure you'd need to see it to understand. It didn't get the ratings it rightly deserves. A brilliant drama, well scripted and beautifully rendered. It's filled with hope and forgiveness.

I often wonder why someone would trash a movie because they're unable to understand the plot. This movie has got all the grit, action and suspense you'd expect from it. The east meets west mix of cultures is endearing. I don't need to give away any spoilers, watch it for yourself and decide. Don't make a decision based on the reviews here.
