Don't get me wrong, I like all the actors and they play their parts well.
But this movie just drags on and on and on. It just hasn't dated very well. Far too slow for a modern viewer. Quintessentially British, but not in a good way. Stopped watching half way.

This movie was a general let down.
It wasn't bad by any means, but it certainly wasn't a great movie. I found it to drag on and on.
The acting was fine but there just wasn't much of a story. Very slow progression to really result in not much at all throughout the movie.
At the end, like, sure something happened but it just felt cheap and unrelated to the character progression we had seen. I am not with the other reviewers who have rated it 9 or 10, but I'm not going to try to claim this movie was a 1, 2 or 3. In summary it's a very average film that I just didn't find interesting. Probably wouldn't recommend it.

This movie goes on for a while. First we have the main story of the movie which takes up 90% of the movie or so before it's "resolved". To put it simply, a lot happens and it's the usual sort of 'whodunnit' and then, with us thinking, "oh it must be this person", "no, wait this person", "oh this person maybe?" but then it kinda just wraps itself up. Not a bad or cliché end to it all, just... lacking after everything we've just experienced and been subjected to. Overall I'd say it was good, wasn't too drawn out, even if it's quite a long movie. Kept me engaged.
Then for the last 10% of the movie they decided to add another completely different story/goal/movie? Like, it was interesting and all, but it just didn't fit in with everything we've just watched for the majority of the movie? If I had to guess, maybe they didn't want to end on that anti-climax resolution I spoke about, so they added this last new story to spice it up so they could end on a higher, yet broken note.
Overall, it was an okay of a story, but the scenes and actions was what made it that little bit better.
