I didn't even love the first Top Gun, thought it was an okay 80s movie. But Maverick is what cinema halls are made for, edge of the seat stuff! The last 30 mins of the movie was some of the best action sequence I've ever seen in my life. Tom Cruise an absolute weirdo in real life, but the ONLY true movie star left. Like fighter jet pilots, he's a dying breed.
Was expecting a good new chilling mystery crime thriller, instead got another underwhelming blah TV series in a long line of mediocre shows of late.
Also Moss's trailer trash overweight frumpy look in this drama is really off putting. Along with the endless predictable close ups of her face giving the same constipated look she always gives when doing her 'serious' acting.
Made it to 4 episodes hoping it may improve but no luck, give up.

Back when Hollywood gave a monkey's about Tibet. Nowadays the 'woke' hypocrites of Hollyweird cast white Tilda Swinton as a 'Celtic monk' to replace an original Tibetan monk character from the Marvel comics 'Doctor Strange', in order to not upset the genocidal CCP. The 90s were truly a great decade for cinema and 'Seven years in Tibet' were truly one of it's gem. I didn't really rate Brad Pitt as an actor until this film and another 90s gem 'Se7en'.
