Wow, what can I say? Rhiannon Fish and Tyler Hynes have great chemistry together, creating believable and relatable characters and bring the story to life! Rhiannon seems to be Hallmark's new IT girl and with each new movie, each new character she's quickly becoming a favorite, creating must see movies!
Unlike most movies with a repeatable theme, the story centers on a candid picture, taken anonymously that go viral, and the growing bond between two people who are both keeping something close to their hearts, and subsequently from each other. As trust builds and a bond is formed, in typical fashion a series of events and misunderstanding leads to another twist, ultimately setting up a feel good moment to end the story... for now. Tyler seems to get all the unforgettable roles lately, it's hard to miss with Tyler in the lead! It's nice to see more variety from Hallmark, less, kitschy and predictable, with a few twists to bring new characters to life. Who knows? Maybe the story has a chapter two?

I enjoyed the movie immensely. The characters were believable and there's chemistry in the french sea air everywhere! Rachelle Lefevre's Moriah reminds me of Belle in Beauty and the Beast, carefree, charming, headstrong, and beautiful. Luke Macfarlane is the perfect match and plays the part of an American out of his comfort zone perfectly. The supporting cast of characters adds a little charm to the story, and lets you escape to another place and feel like you are there. The whole story transports you to someplace I can only dream of, a place where everyone and everything fits like a perfect sweater!
I'm an avid Hallmark movie fan, and I am grateful for feel-good, family-friendly stories and strong characters. I tend to ignore things like accents, imagery, and find myself attracted more to the build up to what is a classic Hallmark ending! This is the type of story that keeps me coming back - I know where it leads and endings as somewhat predictable, but the escape makes it all worth it and the stories keep expanding from the typical hot cocoa, cookie contests, tree-lighting, Festival of Lights that we are all tuned in to for the holidays.
I hope we get more of Rachelle in the future - she's refreshing and a good fit for her own Hallmark franchise!
