Tercer Grado is without a doubt the best 2015 Spanish Thriller. With almost no budget and an amazingly young cast and crew (24 years old average), this team showed to the Spanish industry that miracles do exist and that you can film an excellent movie if you put all your love and energy into it. They won multiple national and international awards, but what is more important, they made happy the audience offering an action thriller film that will take your breath away. Geoffrey Cowper did a great job directing and Jesus Lloveras and Sara Casasnovas delivered an outstanding performance. When I go to a movie theater I expect to be entertained, this film exceed my expectations more than entertained, I became a fan of the entire cast and crew and as a filmmaker myself I'll try to hire talented Lloveras and Casasnovas for my next production before they become so big that I won't be able to afford them.
As a horror/thriller fan, filmmaker & co-funder of an international film festival is hard to find original films that make you jump out of the sofa, that surprise you with shots & scares never done before... Hush is all that and more. Michael Kehoe did a great job creating a suspense atmosphere and even if you expect creepy things can happen in that scary environment he presents, you never expect it will be that good. Congratulations sir, you really scared and entertained me. John Connor does an outstanding job as the cinematographer, and even if you can expect it from such a huge professional, in this film he deserve a 10. They already won over 20 international film festivals and I hope they win even more. They will be Official Selection in our "I Filmmaker International Film Festival", we will be proud to screen this work of art and we hope the creators of this film attend our event. Not all is great in this film... The only bad part is that is way to short and we want more, please make a movie out of it, you already have an audience.
The short "The Fear Box-666 Telemarketing" will be screened at the prestigious "Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival" in November 2014 at Bruges (Begium). This will be the European Premier for this short. Previous to this fantastic cinema event, "The Fear Box-666 Telemarketing" will be screened at "Tabloid Witch Awards", at Los Angeles (CA) on October 25, where the short won two awards: Best Actor (Gary Anthony Stennette) and Honorable mention for writer and director (Mari Cielo Pajares & Jojo Henrickson). The short had a great critic at www.hollywoodinvestigator.com in which they mention the good job done by actor Gary Anthony Stennette: "Gary Anthony Stennette rises to the task, displaying the range of emotions of a man whose drab life is unexpectedly shattered when he must suddenly fight for his soul. Stennette segues through boredom, bemusement, anger, rage, terror, despair, defeat, relief, and gratitude -- all with seemingly effortless naturalism". About writer and actress Mari Cielo Pajares they say: "Writer Pajares does double-duty (and a good job) as the demon on the other end of the phone line".
