The acting in this movie is absolutely dreadful, easily some of the worst I've ever seen. The characters feel like lifeless cardboard cutouts, completely robotic in their emotions and interactions. Their words come out in a monotone, with no variation or genuine feeling, and their facial expressions and body language don't align with what they're supposed to be feeling. The reactions make no sense, and the writing is just as atrocious - completely disconnected from reality. On top of that, the background music and sound effects are mismatched and jarring, as if handled by a complete amateur. It's not even laughably bad - it's just painful to watch. Everything about this movie lacks cohesion, effort, and heart. An absolute disaster from start to finish!
This film is a low-budget disaster that fails on nearly every front. The acting is embarrassingly bad, with performances that feel more like stiff mannequins than actual characters. The music, especially during the supposed suspenseful moments, is an absolute misfire - clashing awkwardly with the tone of the scenes and doing nothing to heighten the tension. Unfortunately, the so-called suspenseful moments are anything but, offering zero thrills or anticipation.
The script is shockingly awful, filled with cringe-worthy dialogue and plot points that feel forced and poorly executed. Despite this, it somehow manages to be tolerable as background noise - though that's about the only thing it does well. The story is painfully predictable, with the villain being so obvious from the start that there's no room for surprise or intrigue.
There are also far too many unanswered questions that leave the viewer scratching their head, wondering if the filmmakers simply forgot to tie up loose ends. The parents' characters, in particular, are frustratingly robotic and emotionless - more like cardboard cutouts than actual human beings. It's hard to invest in any of the characters when they feel so unrealistic and detached. Ultimately, this film feels like an afterthought, a missed opportunity, and one that's not worth more than a casual glance.
