"Amityville Turkey Day" is difficult to gobble up. In fact, it is much like having to go to your great Aunt's house for a third Thanksgiving dinner of the day, the one that is the family's black sheep, wears a muumuu, and her house smells like cheap cigarettes and cat dandruff.
Amityville Turkey Day" mirrors every ounce of that last sentiment with a shoddy, low rent feature that not only drags the Amityville title deeper into the overkill mud but also hurts the exposure of Jordan Downey's "Thankskilling" to those viewers who do get their unsuspecting hands onto Collazo's film first and leaves a residual bad taste toward more competent Turkey trot terrorizers.
That bitterness is contributed by the lack of story structure and coherency, a lost sense of unique personality and entertainment, and a brutal monotone flow that stagnates upon just one setting over the course of a few days, which is a major gap considering the film crew disappearing here and there during that time and no one happens to care or even hardly notice.

Entertaining action film about an ultra-cool CIA agent (Tom Hopper) who almost single-handedly prevents a military coup somewhere in Eastern Europe. The film, shot in Ireland, impresses with good action scenes, a plot that is not really to be taken seriously and a likeable lead actor, who is also seen as a fighting pig...
Tom Hopper, born in England in 1985, definitely flexes his muscles here. He is best known from the series "Black Sails" (as Billy Bones) and "Game Of Thrones" (as Dickon Tarly). But he was also in films like "Northmen: A Viking Saga" (2014) and "Terminator: Dark Fate" (2019).

That was an empowering short film. A park ranger must face her fears as she becomes embroiled in a fight against an otherworldly threat.
This proof-of-concept short film is meant to capture the tone and vision for a hopeful full-feature project. Wish we could have had more of it though. Still hoping we get to have the full length movie. So great to see Madz doing these kinds of films too. Everyone else also did great. The trickster kinda reminds me of some creature in Dr Who. I can't remember the creature's name exactly.
This is a film to remember thanks to Fabian and his amazing crew who put so much effort.
