The Andy character is so irritating and ridiculous from the beginning. No one can watching someone who is like some type of emotional schizophrenic from moment to moment. The Andy character is just plain weird. Why wasn't this character removed from the show because she is not watchable. The rest of the characters are okay but the person who is supposed to be the main character is so awful it ruins everything else about the show. Why was the Andy person even cast in this role? Was it nepotism? There just no other explanation. Don't waste you time with this show unless you are prison and there are NO OTHER OPTIONS. There are much better options for shows to watch.
We liked the Sweet Tooth story overall and the young actors gave solid performances. I hope this show goes on a couple more seasons although the kids are growing up fast. I liked the outdoor settings as well. I also understand the need to not give away the entire story at once but the flashbacks were over done sometimes. The performance of Neil Sandilands (General Abbot) left a lot to be desired. It was almost painful to watch at times because you could tell what he was going for but he never really pulled it off. And what was with the voice/accent? I could never tell if he was trying to do an an American or what but half to times his lines were so jumbled it was hard to tell WHAT he was saying.
Don't listen to the haters, this show is light, cool, fun and a wee bit scary. It's exactly what it's suppose to be. Any show today about people with powers is judged by Marvel and DC standards but they shouldn't be. You have to accept this show for what it is and just let yourself enjoy the ride. This show has an interesting if not obvious story in that the characters are looking for answers and growing closer to each other along the way. I hope they get the opportunity to explore take this show in to new and interesting directions. It is really refreshing good to see new faces and rising talents in this show.
