Sonny Boy (1989)
Very weird and crazy ,like to see again
I stumbled across,Sonny Boy last night,late around 1:00 am on turner classic movies on cable.I missed the very beginning and could not stop watching it! I could not believe what was going on as far as the baby in the car and the sheriff and the big guy talking.What caught my eye was the woman or man or man dressed as a woman! I thought,"is that a man or woman? It's a man dressed as a woman! I thought,why? So I watched as the baby got older and older and realize what was going on.It was sad and I was upset that the way the boy,Sonny Boy ,his name,was treated and made to do.It was really wild and crazy and weird of what was going on in the whole movie.The big guy was so mean and nasty.I watched to the end and had to say it was a good movie and to see it now in this entry was really good! I was looking online to see if I could buy it to have in my movie collection but there seems to be not available on DVD.I only saw it on Amazon only (1) in VHS form.Somesoday had to nerve to sell it for these prices for (1)109.00 and 3 used for 29.99! That is too much for a movie for 1989! It may be rare but not for that price to buy!I hope somebody knows where else possible to buy this movie in DVD.
Sleepy Hollow (2013)
Great show but need slight change
I like the series Sleepy Hollow.I just think the actress,Nicole Beharie cannot act! She does not use emotion correctly in scenes that are needed.For instance when she saw her sister for the first time in years and the fact she was in a mental hospital.There should have been crying some hugs and anger from her and her sister since she felt abandon. Plus she had to take her back to the mental hospital only to tell her you may get out in 6 months.Really? That is sad.And the part she told the woman that was taking care of her and made that ridiculous remark" I'll make God jealous" was absurd and in poor taste!Then the 4th episode when Crane got infected by the virus and fell ill,Nicole didn't shed a tear! She just yelled when the doctors took him away.She acts tough unnecessary and has a cold way about herself. The actor that plays Ichabod Crane,Tom Mison is fantastic! He makes the show exciting,period!Frankly the actress that is playing her sister,Lyndie Greenwood would make a better fit for the role of the detective.Now she is believable in her role in expression and interacting.Nicole makes too many faces and eye movements and stares.She also needs a new wardrobe and a new hair style.She wears the same clothes in each show and her always is out on 1 side when it is in a ponytail! Something needs to change when the show returns in 3 weeks and it is her!
