My head is spinning after just learning about the Watergate scandal. How, without special clearance, can five former CIA and FBI agents enter the DNC? Higher authority, of course, was involved. Did the Democrats really threaten the Republican parties to the point where they had to bug their offices and take files? They should've known it was related because days before the president ordered all of J. Edgar Hoover's personal documents to be sent to the White House shortly after his death. They then circumvent seniority and appointed a White House employee, who has no prior experience, as director of the FBI. They aimed to keep an eye on the data and management practices of the FBI office. I can see why Mark Felt betrayed his position and his commitment to the bureau; he did not want anyone to believe they were above the law, and he was aware that the White House was hiding its involvement in the crime. Years later, many, including the President, resigned from their positions as a result of his desire for justice. Mark eventually decided to confess that he was "Deep Throat" conscience and chose to come clean.
Who knew an AI would make a great companion. Dallas and Robo journeyed through space completing deliveries to save enough cash to repurchase their stock car and resume racing. During their voyage, they encounter some very bizarre situations like going undercover, traveling to the moon to win a wager, fending off cannibal motorcyclists, and identifying a murderer out of a group of suspects, etc. I really enjoyed that Robo was free to express himself and had his own identity. The humor in this dialogue was fantastic; I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I'm hooked on this series that I wish it didn't end.
Losing a loved one does not give you the right to take out your suffering on others. I understand that Gorr felt devalued and overlooked by Rapu, but he killed him as payback. Shouldn't that have been enough? Zeus's and the other gods' refusal to help Thor save the Asgardian children infuriated me much. They are clearly egoistic and their entitlement has blown out of control. I was experiencing conflicting feelings since I knew that Jane had cancer and that Mjolnir was killing her quickly, but she was thrilled to be a part of the team and battle alongside Thor. It was definitely giving couple goals how they collectively defeated Gorr and saved the kids.
