First. Alexis mother is the most pathetic creature, if there was a law that could put you in prison for being a horrible human being, she'd do life. Alexis herself is a liar, she spent a decade denying everything and they have no remorse for making the celebs feel afraid to be in their own homes, Audrina Patridge was traumatized.. Alexis claims (now) that she was a drug addict because his fathers girlfriends sexually abused her, she was facing 48 years and didn't bring this up then? BS. She claims her current job is helping addicts in NA, I've been a member of NA/AA for 35 years, sponsors are not paid in NA/AA. She recently "pitched" a reality TV series about addiction, still seeking fame, it;s called Narcotics ANONYMOUS for a reason honey, one of our rules is "we maintain anonymity at the level of press, radio and film". Shame on her. They stole over $3 million and not one got more than a year in jail, Alexis served 30 days. Nick is clearly still proud of what he did, he laughs throughout the entire show.

The failures and inconsistencies are so numerous, that I don't expect to do this review justice. Superhero shoes will inherently attract children, and full-blown girl-on-girl heavy makeout sessions are so unnecessary for the episodes. I have no problem with women showing affection in a show where the plot dictates it, but they make it 110% gratuitous in "Supergirl". The men are all power-hungry, misogynistic pigs and the women are strong and morally impeccable. Supergirl and her sister spend all their "down time" sulking over failed relationships. Jimmy Olsen is a 6'4" African American Black Belt? Oh, and he literally loses every fight...men suck and women are all a Helen Redy song. I'm a devout feminist and I find the show insulting, and I would if I was a strong-willed lesbian or a man.

I have seen almost every big Christmas movie and the marginally noteworthy ones, Northpole is dead center between the two. In the opening scene on my 60" HDTV, I'd have bet money this was actually a big budget Hollywood blockbuster. The view of "Northpole" was as colorful and bright as any Christmas movie I've ever seen, and that's high praise for a Hallmark Channel production. Mind you, I am not a fan of most Hallmark Christmas movies. They almost always feature Hollywood has-been's, one-hit-wonders who's 15 minutes passed long ago or "never-was's". They're abysmally formulaic, unimaginative and they always look like they had a budget of $12. Here is the entire script of 90% of all Hallmark Christmas movies; There is a jaded woman who's lost her faith in love, a single mom who meets an unassuming man with a heart of gold (like this guy would be single). He rekindles her faith by restoring something in the town, some building or Christmas tradition, or he finds a way to reach the woman's son who has emotional baggage, a disease or he's in a wheelchair...how'd I do? Northpole doesn't break any new ground, and the storyline fits my stereotype more than not. It stars Tiffani Thiessen (Saved by the Bell) and Bailee Madison (Once Upon a Time)who is just charming in everything she does, and a host of actors you've never seen before. This movie won't become an annual classic, but you won't likely change the channel either. Take it for what it's worth, a better-than-average made for TV holiday flick and Merry Christmas.
