Gajaman (2023)
Overrated,Below Average and Predictable Humdrum Drama
Just beacause it's the first one doesn't mean it's the best. Over excited easily pleased toxic fanbase has put this boring mobie to top ratings. The effort should be appreciated but it's not early 90s anymore. World cinema,animation movies have evolved so much but they could have just come up with a better story. They have sold this garbage through a false hype. The jokes are almost decade old and laughter is overdue. IF they make another sequel for this they better come up with better story and charcter development. Overall movie is watchable(barely) but this hype is misleading cashgrab. Sri Lankan people should learn to recognize what's good and what's bad in cinema.
Day Shift (2022)
Most Entertaining Movie Of The Year
Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Dave Franco are back with action packed vampire killing story. At a first glace you would think this is a typical comedy but it has the necessary elements to grab the audience with out being boring. Actions scenes are the most cool. The fact that a stunt man directed this would justify that. Perry did a really good job. Really looking forward to a sequel.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Overconfident director tries lame comedy.
I heard Waititi doesn't read comic books to make these movies, which measns this cocksure director feeds his typical and repetitive garbage comedy into these great comic book stories. Gorr storyline is one of the best Thor stories and one of the best comic stories out there, but Waititi went his own way of changing charcters and story to present a dull movie. There are lot of going on this movie but only serious charcters were Jane and Gorr. Others are acting witlessly through out the whole story. Minute after minute, Waititi hits us with a lame joke that tend to break the story's consistency towards seriousness.
Nadagamkarayo (2021)
Typical featureless, dull drama.(Gu Godak!)
This drama contains childish jokes and repeating the same dialogues that make no sense. Every episode is compressed to a. Boring repeating events. Sometimes actors overact in a supercringy way. Writer and director force the audience to be entertained through lame jokes and plot twists that we could see mile away. In Sri lanka, mega teledramas have been low in quality since they were introduced. This garbage of a drama draines the entertaintment and trap people in a low quality mindset.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
First bad TV show by Marvel.
Here we go with the utterly boring, typical, foreign girl melo drama. The thing is that we have seen this start to a show so many times it doesn't excite us anymore. Even with her power, I don't think she can make a much diffrence. And don't get me start on that stupid costume. Looks like Disney really wanted to show they care about other cultures so desperately.
Moonfall (2022)
Outdated Storytelling.
Trying to bring back old school disaster drama with forcing, typically emotional boring connections. We feel like everything that happens in this movie, we have seen it or know what's gonna be. Poor writing, script, dialogs and mediocre acting pulls together an obiviously conventional story. Those days are long gone Roland. Try something new.
Fresh (2022)
Hannibal would be proud.
Startes as a normal rom-com and midway it opens the door to a comedic yet intriguing story. Both main actors did really good job as well as the supporting cast. Ending was not rushed either. It maintained the pace and opened the possibility for a sequel which i would be keen to watch. Daisy is a cutie pie.
Ashawari (2022)
Typical garbage.
One of the worst Sinhala movies ever. Story telling was done by a person who has never seen a movie. Acting was all over the place. Most of the cast can't act, they are just trying very hard. Only Bimal Jayakody acted well. Dialogues were not macthed. Ending was rushed and that makes this boring movie so forgetful. Another pile of garbage to Sinhala cinema.
Peacemaker (2022)
Most entertaining DC show ever.
This is the most well organised and entertaining DC TV show to date and this the best John Cena's performace so far. He found his meant to be role in this show and does it effortlessly. His comedioc approach is on point. I never like his acting but this show made me change my mind. Peacemaker bring out of sight DC charcters to life and place them in a memorable way.
Home Sweet Home Alone (2021)
I really wanted to watch a bad movie.
Some events happend and they were all so forgetful. They tried but no way near those two originals. The kid and the adults tried so hard to create that practical pranks funny but they were all so cringy. The whole thing was just displeasing.
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Poor man's True Detective.
Starts as of many cop dramas do, flows ordinarily looking for twist after twist. Full of "Meh" type of suprises even though we can see them coming from miles away. Average HBO show but Kate Winslet's acting stand out giving a polish to the story.
Black Widow (2021)
Boring Widow
MCU's Wonder Woman wanna be falls to the lowest. This movie proved "Too little,too late and full of stereotypical events that all of the action movies have. They try so hard to make us foucs to the film with unnecessary explotions and mediocre fight scenes. I think this movie is to forget by all of the MCU movies.
Predator 2 (1990)
Man try to play Predator in a low budget costume
Story wasn't well executed and the main character was so edgy I thought he was gonna kill the Predator by accident in the first 30 mins. We barely see the monster until the end of the movie. Best part of the movie is the ending because it ended its horrible run we get to see the Predators clearly.
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
Lame and Childish
Poor and lame attempt to copy Friends and failed. They have recreated so many funny scenes from Friends TV show and thy are all bad. Only good thing about this show is its story is based on New York. It's astonishing many people like this show, I guess either they haven't seen the Friends or they really have a bad taste. Good for watching if you have nothing to watch and nothing to do in your life.
Between Two Ferns: The Movie (2019)
Another lazy attempt.
They should have stayed with the webisodes. Trying to explore the behind the scene story of the original thing has led to a disaster. Story fell apart along the way and end credits part was the only funny thing. They could have easily stacked this movie into a 5 small webisodes.

A visual marvel.
One of the best and maybe the only movie to create an alien planet and its environment feel realistic.
Se7en (1995)
Agonising Thriller
One of the best I've ever seen.The movie had that special thing to keep the audience glued.Although we saw that Tracy's death coming from a long way.Tracy's death was necessary thing to keep the story alive until the very end.Writer and director had the perfect combination.This movie explains how cops work hard for their lives and other people.Seven is not one for the squeamish; director David Fincher not holding anything back when showing the victims of the gruesome crimes, but that doesn't prevent the film from creating a gripping narrative. Pitt and Freeman are excellent as always and help to create and fantastic atmosphere that builds to create a shocking finale. One of the cleverest thrillers of the last twenty years Se7en would make an excellent addition to any movie collection.
