Watching this film caused me to remember the time I worked in an ice cream truck. I had an anxiety attack and urinated in my pants. That was not a good day.

However, movie is whimsical, witty, banal, contrite, humorous, and terrifying all in one.

The main character, Jillian, is well done. She's somewhat sarcastic, and very loose morally, but she's likable. Her acquaintances are all weirdos or nutjobs. Yet, enjoyable to watch.

It is rather bleak, as the scene is set in the parking lot of a church in a not very nice part of town. There would be no customers at all, in reality. Why would they place an ice cream truck there? And why do they just give out free samples? Why no sell them like every other day?

All in all, enjoyable to watch.

Oddly enough, another movie with the exact same title was released in 2013. Very odd.

Colin Firth, plays a ,,, are you ready?? An English guy, running away from a bad relationship. He makes his way to the small town of Hope Spings. - The all-white, very wholesome, all American town. His chain smoking former fiance , Vera, played by Mini Driver, follows him there. There are several jokes about American non-smoking areas. Apparently in the UK, you can smoke in a baby nursery if you want.

Colin meets Mandy - a local girl. She's attractive and perky. Here's the strange thing. On their first date, they go to a local park. In the morning. Mandy, takes out a bottle of liquor, which is three quarters full, and downs it all in one sitting. Any normal guy, would see his date getting plastered and drinking that much in the morning, and realize she's a serious alcoholic. And get out of the situation. Not Colin.
