First: Joe Rogan's podcast is an absolute hit. Informative, food for thought, educational (Annie Jacobson), controversial (Covid, 9/11, war, politics, LGBTQ, science and other subjects), amusing guests (Bill Burr, Bill Maher, Dave Chappelle and other GOATS), lesser known people who have a story, or an adventure, that keeps you focussed for a few hours, opinionated, not afraid to invite guest he does not necessarilly agrees with, military, politicians, actors, musicians and people you've never heard of, but have an amazing story to tell, information about a certaim subject, or multiple subject.
Joe Rogan is on top of that game.
However.
He's not a good standup comedian.

Thoroughly enjoyed most seasons from one untill eight, but they really should have stopped at the end of eight.
Everybody and their mother knew what happened to Charlie Sheen, and why not stop after a last episode which tied it all together ?
Ashton Kutshers storyline was far fetched, totally unreal ( not that Charlie Harper was a real person, but quite close to Charlie Sheen's real life ) but this is totally abysmal.
And when you put in Patton to "juice up" the show, you know it's done. Like David Spade, it's the curse to your sitcom. The last breath, the nail to the coffin.
I still watch reruns of the first eight seasons every now and then, and I did give season nine an honest try but my oh my ...... unfunny, watered down and cringe.

I like: Modern Family, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Louie, Friends, the Charlie Sheen seasons of Two and a Half Men, Louis CK, Jerry Seinfeld, the Bernie Mac Show, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Bill Hicks, Everybody Hates Chris, Veep, the New Adventures of Old Christine, Get a life, Malcolm in the Middle, Ricky Gervais, Extras, the Office, Alan Carr, Sarah Millican, After Life, Web Therapy, Family Guy, the Simpsons, I loved Best in Show, Dave Chappelle, and I am sure I'm forgetting some shows or comedians.
But I cannot even smile at this show. It's not horrible, but I can't get into it. I was hopefull because of the 8.5 score but i just don't see it.
5 for effort ?
