So we're at the penultimate episode.
Things are only OK.
If we compare to the first season, which in my opinion was actually rather good, then this season has a long way to go to being even watchable.
I'll admit, it has its moments but it's nothing Oscar-worthy.
The problem with this season is it's trying so hard to be modern when it doesn't have to be. We know what year it is!
Plus, the characters' relationships seem very hard to believe.
The line "sexuality is a spectrum" was enough for me to roll my eyes so far back I saw the middle ages. Why can't things just be simple and not "socially appropriate" so no one is offended?

Sure. It's not 1993. Sure, most of us fans aren't children anymore. But this, let's call it a "revival", shows the world that we have again been blessed with the appearance of these three amazing women together again "running amok" in Salem.
I won't lie and say in the back of my mind, I wanted to compare and pick at the nuances that differ this from the original, but what would be the point?
This is a brand new story, brand new jokes and brand new thrills. Accept it for what it is and appreciate it!
I would gladly watch this over and over again and I truly hope it becomes a cult classic in 29 years' time like the first one.
If you are an "original" fan like me, trust me, watch it with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is: homage to us and homage to the Sanders on Sisters we have loved for so long and can finally say hello to again!

Nobody's going to be talking about THIS in 30 year's time.
That should tell you all you need to know.
Now go watch the original.
