Rx 100 (2018)
okayisshh.
Barely one time watch.
Story is good but very much dragged and acting is not believable.
Songs are very nice.
Whyyyyy 150 characters are requireddddddd?
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
super fun
My first movie in theatre after all the covid-19 saga! My first ever 4DX experience!
All this may have added to the fact why I enjoyed it so muchhhh!! Total fun! Loved it! 🎉
Rangasthalam (2018)
entertaining.
Baguna. 😌
it's entertaining. Good story. Decent performances. Great one time watch. 👍🏻
good music. And a good way for me to learn telugu. Whyyyy can't be one liner review acceptable?????????
Suspiria (2018)
tries too hard to be cool.
I started watching this on Halloween. Got bored. Finally finished today on New Year's Eve. Somehow.
Apparently for me it was a very tedious watch. Pointless. Non-conclusive. Not at all engaging. Whenever films try to be tooo artsyyyy, I am not able to enjoy them. Movies which tries to take themselves too seriously usually are a no no for me. Ehhhhh.
Take Off (2017)
Good performances.
Well I finished Take Off when I Landed.
Enjoyed watching it, good performances by almost everyone. And very apt comparison between their tragic regular lives and horrific war.
Ratsasan (2018)
Enjoyable.
Worth the watch.
Lacks in few things - bad make-up, feels stretched, some of the actors.
It feels very commercial, I would have liked it more if it was subtle.
Angamaly Diaries (2017)
Not for everyone.
May be I was not in a mood of this type of film. Was able to appreciate direction but was not able to connect with any character.
Asuran (2019)
A good watch.
Dhanush is amazing. :)
Only thing which I didn't enjoy is the slow motion effect during action sequences.
Shahrukh Bola 'Khoobsurat Hai Tu'... And She Believed in It (2010)
Inspite of pure intentions the film is very bad.
Found this film after too much efforts. Very bad film. Nothing good going on.
I am just happy that now I have seen every film which have SRK - lead/cameo whatsoever.
The Matrix (1999)
Fun.
Now I know why everyone had crush on Keanu. <3
As far as movie is concerned, it felt outdated. Well it is 22+ years old. But you getting my point? It couldn't stand test of time. :P
The Theory of Everything (2014)
Sweet.
Beautiful.
P.S. I treat movies mostly as fiction only even if it's based on real person.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Entertaining. Engaging.
Very engaging & entertaining. Great performances by everyone.
*Little spoiler*
Only inconsistent scene is when Hannibal escape - earlier he was kept in super high level security and after the shift there were only two old cops with no immediate radio/phone to inform others in case of emergency. Otherwise very clever and interesting story.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
Very informative.
The acting part was bit silly. Otherwise quite good and very important documentary. I was already quite aware about almost all the hazards & consequences of social media but never knew how to properly explain it to someone else in short. So this would be helpful. Many great lines which will come handy in my essays. :D
"If you're not paying for the product, then you are the product."
Chokher Bali (2003)
Beautiful.
Visually beautiful. With good messages. I not sure if I understand it fully but still I like it.
P.S. Most unrealistic part- 2 guys rejected Aishwarya just by looking at her photo. :/
C U Soon (2020)
Clever and engaging.
Earlier I was not sure but now I am sure that now I have a favourite Malayalee actor - Fahadh Faasil. <3
Kaala Patthar (1979)
Amazing.
There's something about old 70s-80s films with social messages which is missing in current films. Maybe I am always amazed by the fact that there were people who cared about social problems at a time when access to information was not easy.
Imagine Me & You (2005)
Sweet cheesy rom com.
A typical cheesy rom-com which I love. With lgbtq representation - so even better.
Dunkirk (2017)
Not my thing.
My first Nolan film to not get perfect rating.
Took me forever to get invested in any character.
Probably it's more because war films is not my thing. Or wars in general. :/ Powerful men causing & letting common men die - what's there to like.
Avane Srimannarayana (2019)
Entertainment.
Very entertaining. I am sure I didn't get many references & missed many details but still I enjoyed it a lot.
Many clever dialogues. One of my favourite: "He believes politics is the next dacoity." :D
Bombay (1995)
Beautiful music.
Best part: Music & Songs. <3
And for a 1995 film, it is very courageous. With very good intentions.
But thing is I am so saturated with this topic by current news & events that it disgusts me now. I don't understand now and never will that how can a human be so blinded by hate. This topic just exhausts me now.
Gantumoote (2019)
Important.
No pretence, only substance. And wow the perspective of a teenage girl is so on point. <3
Only complain: What kind of subtitle is *film playing in a theatre* ? The scene selected to be shown in the film must be of some significance to the story. #Prime
Also it have 18+ rating? Really? But the current situation is such that we should be happy it didn't get ban. You never know. :/
Before Sunset (2004)
Beautiful.
I can watch Jesse & Celine talk forever. <3
Emotionally I am still at Before Sunrise stage (hopeless romantic) but somehow my mental state is similar to Celine from Before Sunset. And it's super sad 'cause I never even meet any Jesse. :D
Before Midnight (2013)
Weakest of the trilogy. I think.
Where they find such amazing people who do such cool conversation?
No one around me talks about emotions, rights, pleasure of little things and certainly don't talk about love.
This one is certainly least relatable & enjoyable for me. May be after some years I will be able to fully appreciate it. But first half feels really dragged, I liked second half more.
Amour (2012)
Sad.
It was sad and depressing.
But I didn't even tear up - and I am the kind of person who cry very easily in films.
May it was too subtle for my taste 'cause I love good melodrama and heavy emotional dialogues. :D
Cidade de Deus (2002)
Okayish.
On technical level I could see that this is a good film. And when I realized it is based on true story it made it so tragic. Kids with guns is one of the most upsetting site.
But tbh, I didn't like it very much. May be cultural difference or language barrier, I was not very invested in the characters. Or maybe I not fan of this genre. :/
