They changed it so much. 😭 It's nothing like the book. If you've not read the books, then it's just an average modern teen show. But if you loved the books, this show is basically trash.

Was it predictable? Yes. Was it simple? Yes. But I wasn't able to stop smiling through the whole film because it was so dang cute. Even though it was as I expected it to be, it was comforting. And definitely not the cheesiest young adult rom com, which is a huge plus.

I love Downton. I love that we continue to see the story unfold.

This movie was beautiful shot, as always. But despite my immense love for the story, it felt rushed in this film.

I don't think it took away from the actual story, but the first half of the movie just felt like it was all moving so quickly. And maybe that's just because I'm used to it taking some time in the show... but nonetheless, very enjoyable.
