It's been a long time since I wrote a review of anything, but this time I feel like the rating is unjustified.
I got into this without having watched the material it was parodying, and maybe that was a good thing, I don't know.
People are so obsessed with comparing instead of appreciating what's in front of them.
As a filmmaker myself I always try to look at a story from an original perspective, unbiased by anything it's based on, and I really think more people should start doing that, instead of expecting it to be a copy of something else, even if that's what it tries to do.
The Woman In The... yeah, the title (love it), is a brilliant, funny and twisting mystery that takes you in so many directions.
You eventually start to suspect certain people, but you always end up changing who you think is behind everything. I will admit that the actual person behind it all crossed my mind pretty early on, but that's just because I always try to suspect the unexpected. I shrugged it off until I realized I was onto something from the beginning. However that does not make this a bad thing.
The way it all unfolded, the way Kristen handled things and evolved made this journey the thrill ride it was.
This isn't meant to be an oscar worthy drama, nor does it try to be the best psychological thriller of the 21st century.
It's a parody of a culture, wrapped in a murder mystery.
I really hope this gets picked up for another season, 'cause I was hooked from the first episode and I loved every second of it.

Warehouse 13 will always be on my TOP 5 list of every show ever made.
Every bit of this series is amazing. It basically has everything. Great humour, excitement, action, suspense, and also the characters are more than convincing. I actually cried a little at the end of the show. I felt so attached to the characters, and I didn't want it to end.
The show follows Pete and Myka, two Secret Service Agents who are suddenly removed from their task force by this mysterious woman. Eventually they discover that the world they thought they knew, hides a lot of secrets, and all of them are stored in Warehouse 13. Well.. except the ones that's not in there yet..
If you like "Fringe", "The X-Files", or "Eureka", you definitely need to see this. You will be hooked by the end of episode 1.
