Iliza is an amazing comedian but not a good actor. Her acting is no different than her acting while doing stand up but that's not what a movie needs. Perhaps this movie would be slightly decent if an actual actor had played the lead female role.
If you love the show there's no reason you wouldn't thoroughly enjoy the movie!
