They did an absolutely fantastic job for 6 episodes and then completely flunked in the last episode.
They must have run out of money for their consultants and anyone that knew anything about planes. They must have fired the writers that did the first 6 episodes too. The unreasonable and unrealistic were common errors throughout episode 7. Too bad they ruined the series by getting lazy or cheap, which one doesn't matter.
The elements to have created a great finish were all present but squandered through bad script planning and junky efforts to hurry to a finish. It's really a shame for sure. Maybe remake episode 7?

The concept and story line are ruined by the science flubs. They could have hired a couple of science minors from an arts school and avoided most of the flubs.
Rarely have I blurted out in a series as frequently as I did in this one about the preposterous ACTUAL science flubs.
Just because a show uses mythical or magical or undiscovered science to cause the animal kingdom and related hybrids to run rampant doesn't excuse the gross misinformation of known and existing science. A couple thousand bucks for a science consultant would have made for a better viewing experience. It is tough to be entertained when known science is botched as bad as they did here.
I would have rated it a 1 but the story was strong enough to make up for the lazy scientific writing.
