Arcane: League of Legends (2021)
Family First No Matter What
In short, you will not regret it by watching this beautiful and well made anime. The quality and visuals are absolutely stunning. You do not actually need any background information about "Arcane" or "League of Legends" to enjoy it. Watch available trailers and if it catches your attention, watch it. Creators deserved big applause.
Even though I had "Arcane" on a watchlist, I did not plan when exactly I would watch it. I heard a few times that there is a game League of Legends and Arcane is an anime about it. Honestly speaking, right before watching it, I searched on the Internet "what is League of Legends?" and "League of Legends is a Dota?", so you can understand the level of my understanding about it. Plus, I am not particularly a fan of anime genre (not my cup of tea), but I liked "Howl's Moving Castle" (2004), saw and played in "Final Fantasy" (also in "Ragnarok"), and even watched quite serious amount of episodes of "Death Note" (I will not name my favorite anime because I do not want to see a movie based on it;). However, I recently got an opportunity to see almost half of the 2nd season before the premiere, so I of course watched everything.
From the first minutes of watching, I was amazed by the quality. Blurry and strange but stereotypical beginning with post-apocalyptic scenes, and colors, changed to an interesting adventure through the magic world with two sisters. The viewer is kind of following, almost participating in that adventure that is full of all sorts of moments and emotions with a beautifully made world in the magic - steampunk style. From episode to episode, you like reading a book by following the story of Violet and Powder. This story has every type of twist which makes it really interesting to watch. When the scenario is plain, tasteless, boring, and full of predictions, neither visuals or music will help. Because of the hook that centers on the family, my attention has been kept all the time and I have been awaiting the next turn of that story. Even though while watching it we all have favorite characters and are either happy or unhappy with the storyline, family first no matter what. That is probably my favorite part of the "Arcane"
My unfavorite part of this beautiful story actually starts from the end of the 1st season which develops in the 2nd season and most likely will continue. I will do my best to explain it without spoilers by using simple examples and comparisons. I think when scenario based or contain elements of "Romeo and Juliet", a lot of things are predictable and it is supposed to be either simplified, or has unexpected twists. Another well known conflict - fight / relationship that unfortunately becomes a form of cliché are "Batman and Joker" or "Joker and Harley Quinn" which I see in "Arcane." Additionally, things start moving towards pleasing everyone, so adding things that rainbow flags lovers like, mascot fluffy - furry costume fans, and resident evil - mutants concept team, smells like a cash grab in the style of Target - Budweiser. Moreover, the music that used to serve as a beautiful part of the narration of the story changed dramatically to the level of "boom bam boom" strange noises + kind rap + decadence or cyberpunk !?!, etc. All together it changes the atmosphere and it feels that everything is changing direction. With that being said it is less likely I will continue watching it because the beginning of the "Arcane" (first episodes) is what catched my attention and what I would like to watch; an interesting adventure through the magic world with two sisters, what is happened in a past, more stories about characters that are around, Piltover and Zaun, etc.
P. S: While I am writing this review, I am re-watching the beginning of the "Arcane" (first episodes - S1. E1 and E2.) That is pretty much all that needs to be understood towards my favorite part of the "Arcane" It actually can simply summarize what is catching attention. The warmth and value of the family relationship. The rest is not important, family first no matter what.
Emily the Criminal (2022)
Booster-shot to your trust and trustworthiness.
Have you ever got a call or email from fraudsters or scammers!? Without a doubt besides annoying calls or emails about insurance, car extended warranty, and other ads, you got a strange call or email from people who wanted to trick you. Well, here is a movie about one of those. Unfortunately, there is one thing that truly affects the movie as a whole picture.
While you probably think and hope that these con artists also have family and they are normal people who are just unlucky, and have to do what they are doing, this movie shows us a different side of the story. People who want to scam or steal, and commit fraud, will do it again like a cheater. With that being said, it is bitter truth but "Emily the Criminal" is "Emily a selfish b!tc#" and "Emily - I do not care about anything besides me."
P. S: It is okay movie that every parent must show it to their kids and every kid must show it to their parents. It is like "The Tinder Swindler" (2022) or "Four Good Days" (2020); booster-shot to your trust and trustworthiness.
Stay Well and Stay Safe!
The Anthrax Attacks (2022)
Interesting hook, twisted plot, mediocre explanation, and falling conclusion.
It was interesting to watch but the second half of the documentary like a domino or card house falling apart the whole concept of the movie. The documentary "The Anthrax Attacks" is about what happened after the September 11 attacks (September 11, 2001), but instead of showing us what happened, we see huge mistakes from FBI and people who has a lot of health problems. While you expecting continuation of the investigation, fairness towards post office workers, and some sort of answers, you will get a slap on your face from the government with statements like "Sorry but so many things is going on" or "We have done a great job" Well, kind of disappointing.
It reminded me about Dick Cheney (played by Christian Bale) words in movie "Vice" (2018) at the end of the movie, " I can feel your incriminations and your judgment, and I am fine with that. You want to be loved? Go be a movie star. The world is as you find it. You've gotta deal with that reality that there are monsters in this world. We saw 3,000 innocent people burned to death by those monsters, and yet you object when I refuse to kiss those monsters on the cheek and say "pretty please." You answer me this, what terrorist attack would you have let go forward so you wouldn't seem like a mean and nasty fella? I will not apologize for keeping your family safe. And I will not apologize for doing what needed to be done so that your loved ones could sleep peaceably at night. It has been my honor to be your servant. You chose me. And I did what you asked."
God bless America and may the victims of 9/11 rest in peace.
Vindicators 2 (2022)
The Vindicators is a new "Futurama", "Drawn Together", or "Inside Job" !?
I don't know if I would watch it and like it as a "Rick and Morty" because it is just a spin-off. It reminds me about "Futurama" and "Drawn Together" which is not a good sign because it is kind of repetitive. However, maybe it can become something interesting like a "Inside Job" that was presented by Netflix. Honestly, I do not know if I would watch it as a cartoon series and it is so hard to even give a rating to this because again it is just a spin-off. Overall, it seems okay and even could be watchable but I am not super amazed.
P. S: "Futurama" became classic, "Drawn Together" was something controversial but cool, and "Inside Job" has it own style but reminds me about "Rick and Morty"
Samaritan (2022)
Why is it so boring!?
Sylvester Stallone is a good actor without any doubt who has been spotted in good and bad movies. However, I think it is the first time that he is in a movie that has been made by Amazon - Prime Video. With that being said, if you are expecting the level of "The Boys", you will be disappointed. The problem with "Samaritan" (2022) is similar to "The Rings of Power" which is primarily in duplicating and copying. I felt like I had been watching something that wanted to compete with "The Adam Project" (2002), Netflix. Sylvester Stallone played well and the overall quality of the picture does not seem cheap but why is it so boring!?
Svart krabba (2022)
OPERATION: "Whatever, let's make a post-apocalyptic scene with ice skating and some thoughtful shots."
If I would have watched it ten or fifteen years ago, I would have been impressed but it is 2022. I mean, a lot of things changed, modified, and we ate things much sweeter than a carrot. I think it is a poorly made movie because there are so many questions and so many things are not explained. However, the worst part is that there is neither a hook in the whole story concept or main character itself. After the first 20 minutes of the movie, I still don't understand what happened before or what is going on now. It is plain like oatmeal with water. Sorry but I even have a problem in reaching out to the minimum characters to that movie review.
Munich Games (2022)
Cash-grab on tragedy or just good detective for TV?!
"Munich Massacre" (September 1972) was, is, and always will be a tragedy. The feeling that this is some sort of the cash grab TV Series that was made for the right time (due to the fact that it is 50 years after the "Munich Massacre" and 2022 European Championships) is very hard to go away. However, it is a good detective with a well made plot and you are interested in what will happen next. Even though it is a good detective that holds viewer's attention, the average TV Series atmosphere and clichés affect the quality of the picture. Because of it, you will not be disappointed or have a feeling of wasted time but at the same time not have crazy happiness. With that being said, it has pressure like in a movie "The International" (2009) and shifts like in a movie "A Most Wanted Man" (2014) but it is not "The Bourne" franchise or "Inspector (Kommissar) Rex" (1994-2004) TV Series. If you are a fan of detectives and thrillers, from the gastronomy point of view it is a tasty muffin from a local coffee shop.
NO WAR, NO RACISM, NO TERRORISM!
Game of Thrones (2011)
From Hate to Love
When I watched a little bit of "Game of Thrones" when it was shown and everyone could not wait for a new episode, I did not like it. Instead, I thought it was a terrible TV-Show and it is some kind of "Brazilian Soap Opera" about some weird ice zombies from the north and a girl with a dragon. However, once Coronavirus (COVID-19) came to our life, I gave it another try and now consider it as one of the best TV-Show that I ever watched. HBO and George R. R. Martin made a quality product that became an example of how a fantasy TV-Show should be, how interesting the scenario (script) looks like, and how to hold a viewers for the years.
The greatest quality of "Game of Thrones" is a twisted, sometimes controversial, and unanticipated plot. There are plenty of reviews, information, and articles in the Internet about but in a reality no one need to read, or watch it. It's a great TV-Show that is worth watching. If you did not watched it yet then find a convenient time to watch a few first episodes and you will be caught by the plot.
Well done HBO and thank you to George R. R. Martin for such an interesting story.
The Sandman (2022)
"Lucifer" or "Queer as Folk" with "Charmed" atmosphere!?
"The Sandman" is an interesting TV-Show but sometimes I felt like a was watching either "Lucifer" or "Queer as Folk" with "Charmed" atmosphere. You could feel the scenario slowly dragging you to boredom as Netflix did it with "You" and the next episode you watch, the worse expectations happen. Despite this, "The Sandman" is a good TV-Show but unfortunately on a level of "Charmed" when they were released.
If "The Sandman" would have some action as "Moon Knight" and "Moon Knight" would have some mystery and twists as "The Sandman" then it would be perfectly balanced. It would create a desire to wait for the new episode.
Mike (2022)
Story Without "Iron Mike" !?
Mike Tyson was, is, and will stay in a boxing history without doubt. He is one of the greatest boxer and his legacy will live probably till box will be not interesting. However, besides his boxing career, he is well known for troubles, and conflicts. Unfortunately, his life outside of the ring created an unpleasant image about him and that like a Will Smith-Chris Rock slapping incident. Nobody will ever forget because some of the things will remain permanently on the Internet, books, newspapers, etc. Sadly, but Mike Tyson without his coach Constantine D'Amato is a different person.
Mike (TV Mini Series) is similar to "Iron Mike" without his coach who has been like a father figure. Once you start watching it, you will feel a tasteless scenario with some strange feeling about cash-grab. Personally, do not want watch it because it is not about an undisputed champion, it's about guy with tiger and crazy tattoo on a face. Most of the documentaries or recordings of boxing matches are worth much more in terms of transparency, history, and even inspiration. Thanks for effort but I pass on it.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
Grindelwald is a charming dictator and sweet killer with a rotten heart, and soul like Putin.
"Fantastic Beasts" , the same as "Harry Potter" overall stays on the same level. It is not becoming like a pure cash-grab but unfortunately it more often falls towards long boring novels that are so hard to watch because of the modern trends. For the sake of truth "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" (2022) reveals some secrets which can be considered either modern trends, or part of the diversity. However, it is not making the movie way too bad, or too good because of such a script.
J. K. Rowling is a talented writer who continues creating new interesting adventures about "Magic World". She portrays good and bad very vividly with a lot of important details that is a great foundation for examples and parallels. Without doubt she deserves respect for her books and her contribution to the world greatly appreciated, especially the relatively recent. She posted on Twitter a response to Vladimir Putin's words by referring to Alexei Navalny who is a politician that fights against the corrupt dictatorship of Putin and is currently being imprisoned in Russia. "Critiques of Western cancel culture are possibly not best made by those currently slaughtering civilians for the crime of resistance, or who jail and poison their critics," Rowling wrote, with an "I Stand With Ukraine" hashtag.
While "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" (2022) is a bit boring sometimes and has actors substitution, it has some adventurous drive (twists). It is still a good and watchable movie that is not ruined like "Star Wars" by Disney. Moreover, examples and parallels. For example, Grindelwald, the same as Voldemort with his gang "Death Eaters" has a certain attraction, style, and elements that creates sympathy. However, let's not forget things that relates to both of them; supremacy of "pure-bloods", mass murder of "muggles", child slaughtering by "basilisk'', etc. If you see and follow that parallel, you will probably notice how it is easy to compare it with Vladimir Putin, his lie, propaganda, corrupted regime, and terror in Bucha, a city in Ukraine. No matter how charming the words of a bad person, his or her actions speak louder.
F@ck This Job (2021)
F@ck This Job / F@ck Putin / F@ck This War
Dear Natalya Sindeyeva, Hope you are doing well.
First of all, thank you very much for creating such a unique and great channel of independent news. Never thought that TV Rain (Dozhd) was such an enthusiastic idea that eventually led to an independent source of real news. Real news about everything that is happening in Russia or related to Russia. You and your team have been doing a fantastic, tremendous, and extremely valuable job. Hopefully, you will come back and your announcement on March 3, 2022 means that you are just taking a small break in broadcasting.
TV Rain (Dozhd) has a whole story of ups and downs, and a story of very controversial situations as well. However, the last three - four years were very good quality of broadcasting. Primarily, once you opened up your channel for mass on YouTube. It was the point when you started sharing valuable news no matter of subscription status and posting short videos as valuable data summary. Even though some of the broadcasts were mundane and boring, they are valuable and essential like freedom of speech because they cover what other channels (government and propaganda one) never do.
"F@ck This Job" is surprisingly well made, interesting, and such a sentimental documentary about TV Rain (Dozhd). It is a depiction of your life and life of the channel. It is a depiction of something that has to come back once Russia becomes free from the corrupted government and system that Vladimir Putin established. Hopefully, this day will come soon and people in Russia will open their eyes.
Thank you very much for the truth, integrity, and independence.
Best Wishes and See You Soon.
Locked Down (2021)
Locked Down Love, Romance, and Poetry)
This movie, is not a movie about "Covid"
It's a poetry, about two who are on an edge of splitting.
They must remain together,
They should stay strong and not become too crazy.
Even though it is a mainstream and trendy,
It is about love and comedy as well.
Yeah, stupid and a bit eccentric,
But worth watching for one who is on an edge of splitting.
Yes, I am not a poet,
However, that movie, not so bad.
Watch, laugh, enjoy, and love the one who always cares about you.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
Chainsaw without branding and product placement.
I have never been a fan of the Horror genre and especially "Leatherface" but decided to watch this one since it was recently released. I had expected that it would be somewhere closer to the "Michael Myers" saga but unfortunately no. It is a tragedy and pinnacle of degradation at the same time. The whole movie is not a Horror at all, it is a cheap quality fan-made movie. It is unbelievable that the whole movie, have not really scary moments but rather disgusting and stupid like literally from "Scary Movies"
This is really bad!
Dune: Part One (2021)
Empire of Dune
First of all, I did not read any Frank Herbert books and did not watch any other versions of the "Dune", so maybe my review will not be as useful as the one who is much familiar with such an interesting novel. Secondly, I think visually "Dune" (2021) is magnificent, the cast did a very good job, and of course incidental music without any doubt amazing (no surprise because it's Hans Zimmer). Last but not least, the overall scenes and backgrounds as well as shots of camera operators are on a high level.
However, it is 2021-2022 and here is a few things but without spoilers why this movie is actually average:
As I mentioned, it is 2021-2022 and world already seen a lot of movies ("Waterworld" (1995), "The Book of Eli" (2010), "Max Max: Fury Road" (2015), etc.), so everything that relates to beautiful desert, post-apocalyptic world, or completely different reality must be on the higher level. Yes, shots of camera operators are on a high level but all of that has been complicated and added by computer as well, so it is not enough because "Avatar" was released in 2009.
Scenario is very plain (free of extravagant matter/distasteful) and I doubt that it is because of the story/world that Frank Herbert created. It is probably because of the poor job from the guys who were in the head of that movie. Okay, I will not say a word about "Star Wars" movies but most of us watched TV Shows like "Game of Thrones" (TV Series, 2011-2019) or "Vikings" (TV Series, 2013-2020). I think it's pointless to say anything else, but catchy hooks and twists in a scenario are essential nowadays.
As I mentioned, visually "Dune" (2021) is magnificent but everything is very, very dark (difficult to see) and movie full of variety noises, like vibrations or some sort of "shushing" With that being said, you either should go to the cinema or have a home-theater with a big TV screen in order to experience a "Wow Effect" (as a comparison, your first test drive in a new Mercedes-Benz).
To summarize, "Dune" (2021) could be better and must be better. Honestly, it is 6 out of 10, but with correction to the amount of cash grabs and product placement trash it is 8 out of 10.
P. S: I hope that the sequel will be better and that this saga will reach out the level of "Star Wars" or "The Lord of the Rings"
Hawkeye (2021)
Next generation of Marvel Heroes!?
Overall, good and watchable. Even though there is a feeling that the movie was stretched to the level of TV-shows, it is still good and kind of cool for winter time. The scenario is average and sadly full of some expectations but it is Marvel and the cast is doing a good job. In short, it is a wonderful, funny, family comedy TV-show that is really cool to watch during the winter holidays with a cup of hot chocolate especially if you are a fan of the superheroes.
P. S: I still did not get it, what happened in Budapest!?
Uncut Gems (2019)
Antonym of the "Sex and the City" about New York, New York
It is a wonderful movie that shows New York, New York life in realistic colors. Beginning of the movie shows us noise, clutter, and such nonsense that could confuse the viewer about what exactly he or she is watching, but it is actually an honest (genuine) situation to absolutely anyone who ever lived in New York. Importantly, yes this movie is very narrow in regards to the place, person, and lifestyle, but it is probably a good interpretation of what is going on in real Manhattan jungles. Of course movie contain some less likely realistic scenes but let's not be too harsh because it is still a good interpretation of what is going on in "Big Apple" Additionally, it is a good movie for one who still dreaming about successful life in New York without problems or sweet life in New York that will end up like in a fairytale.
Anyway, it is a good movie, well made, and worth watching.
Dark Waters (2019)
White Knight or rather Witcher can beat up Titan? his, "kind of" Employer you mean?!
It is such a great movie that worth to watch by everyone. Movie has an interesting twisted hook with very catchy scenario that will get your attention somewhere around 15-30 minutes. After that, you will most likely will be lost for a couple of hours in a corporate - law world. This movie showing life in a small American cities, lawyers worlds and their conflict of interest, pointing out on real life examples, facts, and stereotypes. This movie worth watching, especially if you like movies like "Wall Street" (1987), "Spotlight" (2015), "The Big Short" (2015), or documentary "Inside Job" (2010). This movie probably showing a role model for all lawyers and depiction a very realistic scene. Overall, great movie and definitely 10 out of 10.
P. S: If you feel or thinking that this movie a bit boring just wait a little bit, or find a right mood, or might even read a bit about the lawyer who became "DuPont's Worst Nightmare" (Rob Bilott).
Nordsjøen (2021)
Norsk Deepwater Horizon!?
Yes, for American viewers it will remind "Deepwater Horizon" (2016) and others could probably compare it with movies about Chernobyl Disaster 1986 or 2021 Suez Canal obstruction. Anyway, yes this movies is about disaster that was caused nor by nature but by humans.
This movies has it strong sides like a good acting from the whole cast, interesting plot, and driven action without unreal things (like Dwayne Johnson failing out of the skyscraper, mundane routine in a movie "Skyscraper" (2018)). Unfortunately, this movie also has negative sides like copying American style of movies (examples above can be considered), obviously somewhere & somehow scenario is predictable, and "fancy" cultural contrast (It is not about Norway, it is about representation how scenes and certain actions showed).
Overall, it is a good movie and good story. The plot is interesting and has interesting twists. It is showing action from on side and beauty of culture from another side. Definitely, not a waste of time but sadly contain some vivid cliché. If it would had editing in regards of the scenario and cut in chronométrage, it could be 10 out of 10.
P. S: If you are in Greenpeace or in WWF, or fan of Greta Thunberg, you might have a serious "burnout" / "butthurt" particularly close to the end of the movie ;)
Red Notice (2021)
Both, "Ocean's Eleven" and "Mission: Impossible" are ashamed and embarrassed.
Cash grab inspired by pure plagiarism, full of clichés, and covered by product placement.
Well, first of all I could not imagine that it is possible to add that amount of advertising and product placement (Porsche, Alitalia, Christian Louboutin, Microsoft, etc. In first 30-35 minutes). Secondly, on top of such fat marketing layer, that cake has tremendous amount of different type of clichés (USA=FBI, Italy = Interpol, Russia = Prison, etc.). Finally, cast of the movie seems fine till you realize that they are playing their typical characters; "Deadpool", "Mr. Luke Hobbs", and "Wonder Women".
P. S: Of course movie should make money and cover all expenses, but that movie unite almost all negative and disturbing things that kind of making unpleasant experience. C'mon guys, you really consider viewers so stupid and want waste their time for such a empty copy of the well-known movies!?
Last Looks (2021)
You want us to watch it in 2021-2022!?
I actually tried to watch it but failed after 30-35 minutes because of the boring scenario and plot. In the description of the movie it says as a Crime and Action, but I assumed it was supposed to have some elements of Detective because ex-cop was involved. Unfortunately, not in a case with "Last Looks" (2021) and because of the other serious issues. First of all, you will feel that the movie is trying to copy Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino style. Secondly, this movie has a very odd, boring, and tasteless scenario; no hook, no twists, like literally nothing. Last but not least, the order of everything in the movie and the cluttered environment of the scene; probably because someone trying to copy well-known directors and like a child does not want to edit anything. Even though this movie has a great cast and money (budget), it also has a team who do not want to bring it to the better level, which simply requires some proofreading, editing, and cutting of the scenes. To conclude, we all like Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino movies because of their originality. However, by copying it instead of using it as inspiration, well, just be happy that "Last Looks" (2021) will simply have a low rating.
Scream (2022)
"Everyone has a remake already. What about me!? Freddy, Jason what do you think?" - Ghostface.
I turned it off after 15-20 minutes of watching and do not recommend this movie to watch for the sake of your precious life time.
What is "Scream" (2022)?
It is the same as "Halloween" (2018) a reincarnation of the old Horror and Thriller to make money. No hook, no twists in a plot, nothing catchy, but a lot of parallels with "Scream" (1996) and of course some original cast.
Is it a cash-grab?
Sadly and unfortunately but yes.
Is it worth watching?
It really depends on your taste but the scenario is very poor and contains expected moves from the cast. It is similar to "Purge" movies, when it started it was interesting but by the time every new movie is worse, and worse.
P. S: With the amount of the remakes, mainstream trendy $#it, and cash grab staff, we most likely should expect a new "Scary Movie" ;)
Berlin Alexanderplatz (2020)
This movie is simply disrespectful to you time.
Why it is not even a 1 Star, briefly, and point by point.
Do not worry, without spoilers, so it will not ruin or spoil anything =)
1. Chronométrage of the movie is 3h 3m and director want you to watch a Drama about life or poor and unlucky in Germany.
2. Small note or description about the movie says, "A man from Guinea-Bissau moves to Germany, where he is befriended by a drug dealer and two women." Okay, got it, and so we will watch that for almost 3 hours.
3. Opening of the movie super boring, so after 10-15 minutes, I rewind that movie close to the middle and guess what!? It is still boring life story that full of clichés from most of the well-known movies about hard and difficult life.
4. Do you remember time when you were need to write an essay about something and sometimes you could become so excited, so simply can forgot about requirements, time, and length. It is exactly the case with Burhan Qurbani, Additionally, he forgot to cut, edit, remove, and re-record some the staff.
5. Last but not least besides super boring scenario and try to show harsh life in Germany, author wants us to make some sort of conclusion, summary by the end of the movie. Seriously!? Let me guess again, about that drugs, violence, crime, gangs, and uncivil life style is bad and wrong, but a lot of this is a consequences of something/someone. Seriously!?
P. S: Please do not waste your time because you will simply feel that you either just wasted a few hours of your life, or "butthurt".
Boîte noire (2021)
Whistleblowers who are actually heroes.
It is movie about big corporations, whistleblower, and air business. The cast is is amazing, scenario is twisted with unexpected turns, and it is very difficult to predict something. It is literally a gem for 2021-2022 and I think this movie is worth watching. Yes, it is Thriller and Detective with nice elements of Mystery but sadly with some realistic Drama. It has some, just a few clichés but it is okay because cast doing a very good job and scenario is unpredictable.
If you liked The Interpreter (2005), The International (2009), Headhunters (Hodejegerne) (2011), The Fifth Estate (2013), The Invisible Guest (Contratiempo) (2016), Mr. Robot (TV Show) (2015-2019), or Inside Job (documentary) (2010) then you will defiantly enjoy and like that movie.
P. S: It is more realistic than Snowden (2016) or Citizenfour (documentary) (2014) because you can see the real pressure in the atmosphere. Black Box (2021) is slowly but genuinely engulf viewer and making him or her experience the same pressure as main character. It is not about fake spies or conspiracy theories, it is purely about whistleblowers who are actually heroes.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)
A guy who could easily kick Thanos @$$!?
Without any doubt the high quality of the picture, good story concept, and surprisingly nice incidental music. However, the amount of product placement and advertisement were just tremendously toxic, so it is really disturbing and very annoying. C'mon guys you just inserted a BMW commercial for 10 minutes!? Moreover, the scenario either has a strong scent of the "Fathers and Sons" (I. Turgenev) or "Poor is the pupil who does not surpass the master" (Leonardo da Vinci) theme. It is not bad but it is kind of predictable and creates an expected scenario that is full of clichés. Additionally, the language in this movies like "$#it" or "v@g1n@", reminds me about Captain America, "Language" ;) Last but not least, this movie kind of brings a lot of questions and confusion as a part of the Marvel Studios movies series in regards to the world pattern history where all superheroes, and particularly "Avengers".
P. S: It is much better then "Black Widow" (2021) and more interesting then "Eternals" (2021) but it is not even close to "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014), or "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021). Overall it is a good movie and kind of, or on the level of "Black Panther" (2018).
