After a strong start to Reacher Season 3, Episode 4 feels like a major step down in pacing and engagement. What started as a thrilling, action-packed season suddenly grinds to a halt with an episode that feels more like filler than progress.
The biggest issue? The flashbacks. They come off as overly dramatic and cheesy, adding little value to the story while dragging down the momentum. Instead of offering deeper character insights, they feel forced and unnecessary.
Then there's Reacher's female partner-cringe-worthy and painfully dull. Her interactions feel unnatural, lacking chemistry and any real presence. Rather than adding to the intrigue, she becomes a distraction that makes certain scenes feel like a chore to sit through.
Overall, this is easily the weakest episode of the season so far. The first few episodes set an intense, gripping tone, but this one loses steam fast. Hopefully, this is just a temporary slump and not a sign of things to come. Fingers crossed that Episode 5 gets things back on track.

"Even Given the Worthless 'Appraiser' Class, I'm Actually the Strongest" is a captivating new anime that has garnered positive attention for its engaging storyline and character development. The series follows Ein, who, despite being assigned the seemingly insignificant role of 'Appraiser' in a world where one's job defines their destiny, uncovers hidden strengths that propel him to unexpected heights. This narrative of an underdog rising to prominence mirrors themes found in "Solo Leveling," where the protagonist evolves from the weakest to the strongest through unforeseen abilities. Fans of "Solo Leveling" will appreciate the similar journey of empowerment and discovery in this series.
James Gunn's "Creature Commandos", while boasting impressive animation and a unique premise, struggles to sustain its appeal. The humor and action blend feels forced, and as episodes progress, the narrative becomes predictable and characters lack depth. The series promised much but delivers a story that feels overstuffed and, at times, monotonous. Despite its potential as the first entry in the revamped DC Universe, it falls short of expectations and risks losing viewers' interest. Overall, it's a disappointing start for such a hyped project.
