This is such an engrossing series. I watched all of season 1(8 episodes) in 1 afternoon. I didn't know there were more seasons.

I loved that it defies expectations at every turn.

At first it seemed like the sugar-coated ode to the small town with a bad apple to be excised.

Then it looked like the woman is unjustifiably denied the job and outshines the man theme.

Then it looked like Mark was secretly having a gay affair and wanted to hide it.

Each character looks guilty and,then.is not.

Miller looks like the normal,likable.sensible one against her bosses bumbling social misfit persona.

Each character is not what we thought they were.

The ending was a surprise until the last scene(size 10)

The ending made us look differently at each of the characters.

Overall brilliant! It sets a high bar.

The program is really well done. My complaint is not re the art and production.

My concern is that Peter shows no moral compunction but is concerned re himself and 1 other person-no concern re fostering cocaine addiction???

Did either of them have any concern for the people who became addicted to Cocaine???

The only problems for them are the there own suffering from being caught and the effect on their own family???
