I loved this movie, it was one of the best I've seen in a long time. While I dont see myself watching it again, it was a great one time weekday watch. Ananya completely carries this movie on her shoulders and has proven with Ctrl that she is not just another nepo kid, but is here to stay. Her acting range has expanded and the director was able to pull a lot out of her. She has the potential to make it to the top if she is choosy about her scripts. The story was really good and there were a few twists and turns I didnt predict. The supporting cast was good in there roles but no one really stood out.

I really liked this. If you are into traditional 90s rom-coms that have a bit of drama, music, and comedy you will love this. Although the story is quite predictable it is a fun watch for some light viewing on a friday night. Performance wise, the cast is pretty good. Sanjay and raveena had really good chemistry. Parth was very good. Khushali's range is limited. It was kind of weird seeing her play raveena daughter - they look like 2-3 years apart from each other in age at best. The songs were ok. I probably would not watch this again but it was a good one time watch. Parth can go far with the right support.

This movie was as only slightly better than how bad it's been described. I rated it a four and i feel like that is being fair as possible and unbiased. Priyanka nor abhishek are my favorites but priyanka at least usually choses better scripts than this. It came out a few years after krrish so i can see why they thought that this might catch. The major problems with this film are that abhishek clearly isnt buying his character and that the filmmaker struggles to bridge the past and present together. Unfortunately you cant make an epic on a tight budget and everything about this movie is pared down. Some of the songs are even cut way down as well. Definitely give this a skip.
