I thought it was hilarious but I like dark, weird out of this world humor. The most memorable part is when the Arab and the black guy are arguing over a sale.
Not a film for the politically correct, so if you get offended easily, you shouldn't see it. I loved every minute of it, and the special features are great.
Just watch the film, you'll go out of your mind laughing, I did.
Watch the end credits to finish, you won't regret that either. LOL
I didn't have enough lines on my comments so this ending sentence is just me stating that to all of you since I want my comment posted. Gosh how long do I have to type before it tells me I can push submit? Should I try now? LOL

From start to finish this movie delivers. I saw this movie when it came out in 1987 and then I recently saw it again last night. I'm 33 years old and in 1987 I was 15 years old, naive and didn't get any of the humor. The only thing I understood then was that there was a devil that came to Eastwick.
Seeing the movie again last night was so awesome. Jack Nicholson who is one of my favorite actors gave a stellar performance as the Devil. I recommend this movie to anyone wanting a good laugh. My favorite scene is the one where Jack Nicholson goes in front of the Church and also the confrontation he has with Cher's character. I must have rewound those scenes 8 times in a row last night.
Enjoy!

I give this movie a 9 because it's not my all time favorite film but it's among my favorites. You get my meaning. First of all when I saw that this film was initially a lesbian film I was a little judgemental, since all of the lesbian films I've seen have sucked majorly. This one was really "intense". There was no going around issues here, things were thrown at you from a morbid love triangle standpoint involving women. I love the characters. Ally Sheedy did an excellent job returning with this Indie Film. I missed her since The Breakfast Club, St Elmos Fire and a few others. Ally is a cool chicka. I fell in love with Ally's character in High Art, she played a lesbian well. The director did a great job in depicting the gritty drug scenes in a not so good light, which I thought was wonderful, because I really wouldn't be able to handle it if they were to glamorize the issue. And the music! My goodness the music rocks the bells. Go see this movie, it rocks. It's so BOHO!
