UFO Cowboys (2023)
For Those Who Take Investigations Seriously........
............I UFO Cowboys is a 50/50 composition of a real investigations and a hollywood reality show. I watched the entire first season and I saw some very strong and compelling evidence of their claims that there is actual UFO & Alien/supernatural activity happening here in the US and our government is not only keeping evidence from the constituents but actively and aggressively hiding it.
HOWEVER, I am reserving my final opinion on that percentage balance until I can watch & research the next season (what happens next). As an actual researcher into all things "Para-Normal", I and ismost investigators/researchers are interested in real facts, real pictures or film and actual witness testimony in their own words.
In the search for Truth, researchers and investigators will accumulate these kinds of facts to form an opinion based on these findings. So when a TV show proclaiming to be a documentary series and not the usual Hollywood "Reality Show" has so many weird visual and sound effects, I start leaning towards the conclusion that this production might be a so-called "Reality Show". I don't know about anyone else but it drove me crazy not to be able to see any of the alleged supernatural activity presented clearly from beginning to end. Editors could have easily made those portions of the film clearer by slowing it down frame-by-frame or used 'Color Inversion' to increase the contrast and enhance the details instead of obscuring the scenes by adding weird shaking and zooming effects.
OR could it be that the series editors and 1 or 2 "cowboys" are part of a strategy to de-legitimize any compelling facts caught on camera? But that's another rabbit whole.
I would hope, if there is a 2nd season, they would simply present the factual event in their entirety as they are happening.
Enslaved (2020)
Aren't you tired of insighting pity?
I watched "Enslaved" with S. L. Jackson hoping that it would be a story of victory from a dark past. However it seems to be an aptly entitled story designed to keep the hearts and minds of the people of color "Enslaved" as perpetual victims.
And before you start with the usual name-calling in order to bully me into silence, let me tell you that I am Hispanic and we have our own stories of slavery, abuse and predjudice. But most of my fellow Hispanics don't care to be viewed as victims but instead we rejoice as overcomers and even better, as victors!
I ESPECIALLY DISAGREED with the "experts" portrayal of Dido Elizabeth Belle in the portrait alongside her cousin. Yes, her cousin! Dido was the daughter of the English gentleman, Sir John Lindsey. He was an English Navel Officer who claimed her as his daughter when her mother passed away. He brought her to England as his heir to be raised with his uncle, William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield, as Sir John was away a lot with his duties in the Navy. Dido was raised with her second cousin Elizabeth Murray, both as English gentlewomen and both provided for in the Earls will.
In this series "Enslaved, they said that Dido was a slave because she held a basket of fruit in the portrait. As usual, just like our current "schools of higher learning", they want people of color to believe that all white people hate all people of color and all people of color are always victims in all situations; which is an absolute lie!
I would rather not believe what people decidetell me. I always do my own research on issues so I can come to the TRUTH.
If I can find the truth about the issues of life, then I can enjoy a free life!
Where'd You Go, Bernadette (2019)
Loved this story.
It's been years, actual years, since I have found a contemporary film which was made up of really good dialogue, a really good storyline, really good actors who were given the opportunity to take their audience with them on a really good ride. And it was all done WITHOUT holding me hostage so the producer or director or the studio could force feed some kind of political or environmental ideology down my throat: and all without the obligatory and unnessesary sex scene or excessive foul language. Thank you for making an enjoyable film just for the sake of your audience's enjoyment. It does seem to be very rare these days! 👍
Analysis Behind the News: Neoconservative Mike Pence Considering 2024 Run? - JBS News Analysis (2021)
The Worst Kind of RINO!
Masquerading as a neoconservative by saying & doing all the things that authentic conservatives sincerely believe in, not for their own individual benefit but for the benefit of the country. A RINO could care less if their Republican constituents know they are not representing them.
But the worst kind of RINO says all the 'right' things and conservatively votes in congress until it really matters: then selling out to the left in a mind-blowing stab to the back of every hopeful patriot.
That RINO should know that it will be a COLD DAY IN HELL when a majority of constitutional patriots would every trust him again; much less vote him into the highest office in our country.
Missing 411: The U.F.O. Connection (2022)
Eye-Opening and Informative!
This Doc was extremely well made, filled with eye witness testimonies and interviews held on location of the strange events. Dave Paulides takes his methodical investigative skills as a Police Investigator and applies them to this unconvetional but fascinating subject; producing a fact-filled documentory I couldn't take my eyes off of. I'm going to watch it again and again. I appreciate this filmmakers courage in following where the facts lead, regardless of where that is.
It's been a long time since I've seen a doc that deals with this kind of subject and not have it desend into a series of crazy speculations leading no where. The film maker respects his audience enough to present the facts and leave us to our own conclusions and opinions.
Serving the Hamptons (2022)
Gross!
This show is inappropriate for ages 1-100. If I wanted to see filthy, nasty, inappropriate behavior by animals with no sense of self-respect or decency, I'd go to the monkey house at the zoo.
Ephraim's Rescue (2013)
This is on the Dove Channel
This is a movie about mormonism. Within this story, the movie equates the "book of mormon" with God's Holy Bible. I and my family, as Christians, lived in Salt Lake City, UT for 8.5 years. Our family is Puerto Rican and some are light-skinned and some are dark. As a non-mormon, our dark-skinned daughter was belittled by her public school teachers and harrassed by her classmates. We finally had to removed her to place her in a private Christian school. It was worth every penny!
We discovered that this prejudice originates from a mormon doctrine that says when Cain was ousted from Eden, the mark that God gave Cain was black skin. Which of course is neither Biblical nor truth. We then discovered that the book of mormon is almost completely NON-BIBLICAL and promotes the total subjugation of women and total domination of men without question. These were just a few doctrines that are nowhere in the Bible.
When we lived there all our neighbors had to attend the neighborhood "ward" which is what they call their church building. The "temple" is reserved for their leaders, their elite, special secret ceremonies* and the place where members get married; but only if they are mormons 'in good standing'. Meaning, in part, being fully paid up on their "tithing" (one-tenth of their total income, to the penny) and having no "sinful" behavior.
*One of those secret ceremonies is "baptism for the dead". Meaning a person will stand in for a dead relative to be baptizing into the mormon religion "by proxy" and the dead person is now a mormon: and against their will.
These examples are just some of the many NON-BIBLICAL doctrines of that religion. Which is, by definition, a cult. I'm not sure why the Dove Channel would carry/promote this movie but as long as they are promoting movies that depict cults as positive, we will NOT be subscribing.
Oh BTW, we could only take it for 8.5 years and finally left.
1883 (2021)
Excellent story line, acting and writing!
For all those who love American Historical Westerns, 1883 will not disappoint. This is definitely not for children or those who are easily offended, however this series does accurately portray the tough men and women who successfully settled the American west. I love good historical dramas because of their ability to transport me to times and events that were to me previously only dates in a school book. However I hate those so-called 'historical series' that add in inauthentic or unrealistic people, language or lifestyles for the sake of 'political correctness'. Most people (outside of Hollywood) hate it as well. If the writers and director keep this series historically authentic, I will be looking forward to season 2.
Survivors Guide to Prison (2018)
Absolutely True and Helpful HALF THE TIME
Ok, first off, this doc had some very helpful and truthful information. The problem is that the dialogue that these ACTORS were reciting (repeating a script they were given to read) left out the full truth and/or exaggerated the truth and/or embellished personal experiences to sound like they are the norm.
Secondly, most of the unconstitutional issues that are actually throughout the prison system are NOT the ultimate responsibility of the police force on the streets. Or, for that matter, the ultimate responsibility of the prison guard. ThE buck stops with the local politicians of that city if it's a city jail, or the state politicians of that state if it's a state prison, or the federal government if it's a federal prison or penitentiary. AND the same for the local police and county sherriff officers patrolling the streets AS WELL AS the District Attorney's office, Public Defenders Office and any prejudice/unfair/crooked judges.
Thirdly, in our current corrupt political environment here in the US (and most banana republics), everyone knows that if you conduct yourself in an unethical, nefarious or unscrupulous manor while executing your position within any branch of the DOJ, it is very rare that there will be any accountability. ESPECIALLY if you hold that position because of who you know, who you are related to or who you can blackmail if your job is threatened.
Fourthly, the truth of the statistics regard the percentage of US citizens rightly or wrongly incarcerated are high compared to other countries. HOWEVER, in many other countries (communist for instance) they would rather execute "guilty law breakers" rather then build more prisons. In some major countries citizens accused of a crime are not entitled to a speedy trial and can wait years for their case to be heard. And in many 3rd world countries the army is police, judge and jury.
Yes, the US has issues, but they are made worse by corrupt politicians, gangs from other countries that we are feeding and clothing instead of exporting to their own country and not allowing to return. It would also be a great improvement if the politicians would stop using our tax dollars for vacations, homes, cars and big banks balances but rather use our tax dollars for making common sense laws that require a better and longer education for local law keepers.
Anne of Green Gables: Part 1 (1985)
A Mother-Daughter Viewing Tradition
I discovered this series when my only daughter was 7 and I was 36. We both watched it for the first time and it was unforgettable. It became a tradition which we did together every five years or so. Now my daughter is a mother of a little girl and we can't wait for my granddaughter to get old enough to watch all together for the first time. This series portrays a young girl who finds herself in an unfortunate life but possesses an unsinkable spirit and an unequaled imagination; both prove to be her life preserver. There aren't too many movies any more in which we can watch with our daughters/granddaughters and create such character- building traditions. I highly recommend this series.
Anne of Green Gables: Part 2 (1985)
A Mother-Daughter Viewing Tradition
I watched the whole series with my only daughter when she was 7 and I was 36; it was the first time for both of us. It is a story of a young girl caught in a life of unfortunate circumstances with an unsinkable spirit that proves to be her life preserver. We laughed, cried and thoughly enjoyed watching it together. That created a very fond memory which we relived as we watched again every five or so years. My daughter is now a mother of a little girl and her eyes can't wait until all three generations can watch together for the first time and continue the tradition. There are not many movies or opportunities like this in today's world. I highly recommend this for your family.
Harlem (2021)
Same ol', same ol'.
I'm black and I have one question: Why is every (with very few exceptions) black film/series based on a woman trying to get or keep a man while trying to prove how much money she makes? We need more movies like "Gifted Hands" (Dr. Ben Carson's story). Oh and BTW, I can't take any more "angry black woman with a chip on her shoulder because the white man is keepin' her down" attitudes. (Whoopie)
Phantom Rider (2020)
Real or Fake?
I can't figure out if it's completely real (I've seen some of the ufo footage on mainstream tv) or partially real/partially fake or mostly fake? I'm going to have investigate.........oh,oh!
Bridgerton (2020)
Exactly why.......
I got rid of Netflix. I was willing to give them a 2nd chance after the Obama fiasco, but this sent me over the cancellation edge.
The IMDb Show: Sarah Wayne Callies (2020)
Idiot moron!
Sara Blame Smelly's has to bring politics into this too? What a moron! Don't you realize that you are alienating 82M potential buyers? Of course you don't because you only know what your handlers tell you like the rest of the thoroughly ignorant parrots who cannot use their critical thinking skills to develop a single independent thought. It's sad to realize the lengths you all will go to be loved and accepted by your peers who, BTW, are in the same uninformed self-centered boat. You wouldn't know freedom if it slapped you in the face. You are the same borg-like moron that Beijing-Biden is.
Joker (2019)
de nero is HORRIBLE!
De Nero is the worst! Something definitely wrong with him. He is definitely past hi prime and trying to hold on to a dream. So very sad. Most people I know won't even waste their time watching anything with him in it. I feel mostly sorry for Joaquin Phoenix having to work with him. Go back to working with Mel Gibson. Much better actor and superb director.
The Last Kingdom (2015)
For history lovers.
If you love history, drama & action, then you will love this series. I really hope there is a Season 5 coming soon. The acting is superb as well as the dialog and story line. Season 4 was just as great as season 1 and hopefully season 5 will be spectacular.
Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland (2019)
Oprah, you forgot a group in your list.
The list that Oprah spewed out of where pedophylia happens included home and CHURCHES (which she underscored) however she left out the worst industry for pedophylia which is the movie & TV business.
People are asking who's to blame and the answer is very simple. When there is a legal and moral crime that has taken place, the criminal is to blame. That means the perpetrator and the accessories to that crime. Albeit, the accessories to a lesser degree. PERIOD!
Michael Jackson obviously ruined the lives of these men because he was a predator. You also have to ask the question "Who taught Michael Jackson how to groom these young boys and their families so he could abuse them?". I heard through the Hollywood grapevine that the Jackson boys were also abused by those with the power to promote their careers and that their parents also let their predators have access to them.
Pedophylia is a cycle from one generation to the next and there is no cure. If pedophylia were a "life sentence" or a "death sentence" we would see it disappear from this country in a generation.
A Star Is Born (2018)
EXTREMELY Surprised!
I am a female musician and a film lover. Up until this film, I had only seen Lady Gaga mainly as an exhibitionist and a slightly above average vocalist. After seeing this film I was extremely surprised at her talent as a musician, songwriter and vocalist. Gaga and Cooper were great; both as actors and musicians. The story-line, and especially the score, definable drew me into this tale of brokenness and hope. I saw "A Star Is Born" in 2021 (last year) on a streaming app and it still stays with me in the same way that "Titanic" did.
Big Little Lies (2017)
Loved season one but won't watch #2
When I watch any movie, T.V. or theater, I spend this time and money for entertainment. The Actors in the first season understand that they are ENTERTAINERS! Meryl Streep used to be one of my favorite Actresses until she started trying to shove her political opinions down our throats instead of remembering that her job is to entertain. If I wanted to think of her as a political activist I would have voted for her in whatever political race she would be running in. NONE of my customers ever wanted to have my political opinions shoved down their throats. Same goes for Actors and the only way they will understand that is if we stop buying their tickets.
I Survived... Beyond and Back (2011)
Absolutely love this bio drama.
This is a surprising eye opener filled with first hand accounts of people from all different backgrounds who died and came back to share their experiences of the 'other side'. FASCINATING!
Pretty Dudes (2016)
Should be 'Pretty DUDS'
Just watched the first episode and I'm sorry to say that the acting and the script were so bad I couldn't bring myself to try a second episode. I mean who doesn't like a little male eye candy, right? But not in this case. Sorry boys.
Shock and Awe (2017)
Shock and BLAH
Boring and self serving. No surprise, though. Mr. Reiner is taking his elitist privelage to preach via this soapbox.
