This is a delightful little comic vignette that should resonate with anyone who has ever embarked on a dream. It starts a bit slow, but picks up as the plot unfolds. The basic premise is that, with belief, determination and no small amount of talent, a film can be made in 3 days from concept to finish. Betting against this brash proposition is studio mogul, Jack Stockman. On the other side is a cocky and somewhat dodgy indie film producer, Carey Westlake. Speaking through the medium of Hollywood stereotypes, the writer gives us an engaging tongue-and-cheek glimpse into the trials and tribulations of independent film making. Even so it delivers an air of sincerity and simple truth. While not uproariously funny, it definitely leaves one smiling.
