Cracked (2013)
What a shame !
I started devouring the series! Wit, well written, good actors, then came season 2...
Charging Stefanie von Pfetten was mortal. Daniella was a real psychiatrist, gave the show the dark it needed not to fall in drama.
Not a surprise the show was killed.
The stories in season 2 started to be the once interesting detective, in a ego centered show, no need to call psy crimes, more like reading a ghost writer's story who don't have a clue of what metal illness is about.
I'm autistic, details, acting, all story, arc, is what makes me invest my time.
Surely season 1 has it all, season 2 don't have anything.
What a shame.
Shei shi bei hai zhe (2020)
The story os great but I can't understand what is being said
I'm autistic and feel lost having to rely totally on subtitles.
Can't watch, read and feel without listening.
The story unfolds slowly and full of details I'm sure to miss while reading.
And can I rely on subtitles in such delicate and intricate characters?
For sure I'm not the only one, but I'm the one bringing this matter up.
The main character (I can't remember his name) should be like me, yet the stereotype is forced and most of the times he loses his way in small movements.
Is his daughter autistic too? I did not finish the first season, so sorry if it came up and I didn't catch it.
Clarice (2021)
Great performance
How easy it is to like a charming killer cannibal and how hard it is to enjoy a clumsy FBI female agent with PTSD. I adored this show. The Silence of The Lambs is one of my favorite movies, and Thomas Harris is one of my favorite writers. Primarily because of Clarice Starling.
Rebecca Breeds' performance started shy and ended in an explosion I wasn't expected. The perfect cast for the perfect story. It's a shame CBS couldn't keep up. Bravo to everyone involved.
P.O.V. (2001)
New concept
P.O.V. is not a movie to be seen as such, but as a new experience! In fact only "works" if seen in a DVD player. The interactivity, possibility to chose the character's dramatic arch, the plot changes because of your choices, makes of P.O.V. more a game than a movie.
The story is cliché, but the idea of let the audience chose what it's going to happened next, is rather good. Again, only if seen on a DVD player-
The script is well written for the purpose. After three of four times we see the the movie and save a different end each time, the game starts to become interesting.
I think is worth trying.
