His Double Life (2016)
Needs dumb decisions to move forward
I had pretty high expectations because the plot sounded like something i'd enjoy. And while it still is, and i feel like it could have potential, they really ruined this a lot. It was a very "simple" movie in the way that it was always very stupid decisions from the characters that led the plot forward. Without these unbelievably stupid actions they actually would've had to write something clever, but they chose the easy simple way. Spoiler; when the friend came to the house shouting "I need to talk to you about Greg!" without knowing if anyone was home.. that's when i realized it wasn't gonna get any better than that.
Or the scene when she goes to her mom's office and says she needs to tell her something important, that it's about Greg, and the mom notices she's scared and shaking and runs off when Greg arrives, and yet the mom just.. does nothing? It was such a red flag and the mom just brushed it off and moved on.
Or the police telling this teenage girl to bring evidence of a spy to their office?? Instead of sending officers to the house? Come oooon.
And then the ending was just way too sudden.
The Girl from Plainville (2022)
It was amazing, at the beginning
The first few episodes i was very intrigued, and i was really looking forward to the rest of the season. However every episode it gets slower and slower and i can't keep up because i lose interest. Could've easliy been made into fewer episodes.
Boo, Bitch (2022)
This was cute?!
I expected nothing after reading the reviews here beforehand, but i really enjoyed it! Even got me a bit emotional! It was a cute series! Agree with people saying there are some plot holes but... she's a ghost?! It's not supposed to make sense haha.
