On Edge (1999)
the greatest short ever..cool
1st seen it on the SciFi channel and happened to tape it just because I liked the short films on Exposure.Following this flick was a Clive Barker interview. And the Ironic thing is -I wasn't even a fan of Clive's at the time- Now I am a huge Clive Barker and Doug Bradley fan and am SOO glad I happened to catch it.Because now it has become one of my prized possessions! Frazier Lee is pretty cool with his dreads and English accent.I definitely want to find more of his films soon. And hope he makes it to the big time. There was an interview with him and I thought it was so funny that he mentioned he's"somewhat of a dental pervert".I think everyone who is a Pinhead fan should see this amazingly horrifying short film especially if you enjoy dark humor,Doug is so humble yet intense as his part, playful yet at the end extreme.I just wanted to share my opinion with everyone because I believe it is a must see.
Joey (1985)
i have seen this movie as a kid yikes!
up until about a couple of days ago I had no idea what this movie was called.Afew days ago someone answered 1 of my question/comment about the movie Magic. That steered me in the right direction.I am glad that person knew this movie because I'm 28 and I don't want to still be thinking about the title of it. It scared me into frantic!!To this day I still don't like them but in some weird way i am compelled.I ordered it so I should be getting it in the mail. Can't wait!I am pretty sure this is the movie...WOW. I rated it a 10 because from my earliest memories it was awesome.Tales From The Crypt (HBO)had an episode called My Brothers Keeper. It had (I think it had Don Rickles and definitely Bob Golthwait). And to this day I consider it Terrifying! There is a Old twilight zone episode with a dummy in it. Does anyone know what the title of it is??
The Fisher King (1991)
the best movie-funny
I love Mercedes Ruehl. In fact what got me into liking her is that when I was younger I saw her performance on Broadway as "Bella" in a Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers with Kevin Spacey. It was very good-they made it into a movie too. That is why I watched the Fischer King. To this day I love the whole cast. Great storyline. In depth characters and understanding of their emotions.Love Bridges-even though he is unbearably unpassionate in most of it but has a change of heart at end-hopefully. I love Amanda Plummer's part too as the mousy, paranoid, shy,Lydia. Grat little songs throughout that just make the movie memorable.
