3 Body Problem (2024)
eiza deserves awards!
This was & is one of the best shows ive seen so far!. Seriously i agree with whoever said it, it's not like any other sci-fi series!. Though i do admit, the later episodes were a bit too slow and dragged alot. But the show was still awesome! Especially my most favorite girl ever... eiza gonzalez and her character auggie salazar!. Not only they own their scenes, they completely owned the whole @#%& show! From first to last episode. And i love enjoyed every single second of eiza's performance! I'm happy to say, auggie was & is the true emotional core and drive of the entire series. If they ever make a 2nd season, i pray/hope that they bring back eiza and her character auggie! If they dont, i'll never watch it all. Cause it wouldn't be 3 body problem without eiza or auggie!.
Vamos a matar, compañeros (1970)
A masterpiece from start to finish!
Besides the man with no name franchise, This is one of the best spaghetti western movies I've seen so far. It does not hold back on the action, the humor & the violence. Best part is... They didn't over do it! I love every single bit of the movie! I'm not spoil anything to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, y'all should watch it soon. Sergio corbucci is on the same level of cinematic genius as Sergio Leone! Also, I love that it was shot in techniscope. Its my most favorite format ever. I love to shoot my future movies in techniscope one day soon.
I give companeros 9/10. The directing, the cinematography, etc.
Bad CGI Gator (2023)
one of the most enjoyable stupid and beautifully idiotic movies ever..... I LOVE IT!
I heard about it not so long ago. And i've been wanting to watch it, to see how bad & wild it is. Fun news! I got to watch the whole thing on tubi. It is one of the most enjoyable stupid, cheesiest and beautifully idiotic movies i've ever seen so far.... and.... i truly love every single bit of it! Seriously, every single cliche and stereotypical BS in cinema history, all in one movie!. The most fun part is... they made it that way, on purpose!. I love every single bit of it from start to finish. The whole thing is the same as the cgi gator... world class bad! Truthfully, it deserves the all razzie awards soon! Im very happy to say, it's made by the company that made one of my most favorite movies growing up... magic island!. I give bad cgi gator a 10/10 for being enjoyable bad!!!!!
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
The first 4 & 1/2 minutes were the greatest!
Truthfully, honestly. This show is a joke!. I could barely stand watching the first episode!. I prefer the 2005 movie, cause it had a real & moving story/plotline. The show didn't have any of that! Seriously, two complete strangers with barely any field experiences, thrown together in an arranged marriage by the agency and tossed into missions. It didn't work for me. Truthfully, the only reason why I wanted to watch the show in the first place, is my most favorite girl ever!... Eiza Gonzalez!. She was wonderful as her character, called the "other Jane". I don't care what anybody else says, but eiza's character & her on screen husband the "other john" were the real Mr. & Mrs. Smith! They had a real true love for each other. They were 100% intriguing & engaging. They were the real driving force of the whole completely better story/plotline!. The great news is, it was one of eiza's greatest & memorable performances so far. She truly made "other Jane" 100% beautiful, hardcore, outside of the box & wonderful. The bad news, it went downhill severely after her character & the "other john" were killed within 4 & 1/2 minutes later. Then they lost me after that. Eiza & her character deserves better treatment then that! At least, eiza's Jane went down fighting.
She truly owned & drove the show & moment from the very first second!.
I give the show a 4/10, but I give eiza gonzalez and her co star (Alexander skarsgard) 10/10. Especially eiza. She was the queen!
Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)
A Top notch, hardcore space opera
Truthfully, honestly, I don't care what the idiotic negative reviews say. Half of the people today have no taste in movies at all.
Rebel moon part 1 is one of the most epic & greatest sci-fi movies I've ever seen so far!
Zack Snyder made a great, original twist of the whole thing! Its a careful mix of seven samurai/magnificent seven meets star wars: a new hope with a touch of hidden fortress.
The fx: beautiful
cinematography: operatic
directing: top notch
Acting: Oscar worthy
Set design: as if they were actually on other planets!👍
I truly recommend this to one who's interested!
Rebel moon part 1 wonderfully stands out from the crowd & is one of the kind, outside of the box feature film! I can't wait to see part 2 coming up in April soon.
I give the movie 9/10.
Popular Mechanics for Kids (1997)
one of the greatest shows ever!
I should've made a review about this months ago.
Popular mechanics for kids was & still is, one of most favorite t.v. Shows growing up. I'm so happy to say i got to watch it again on prime video many months ago.
It was still great as i remembered it and loved watching every episode again!
Jay & elisha were great and fun hosts. I wish jay stayed on the show longer. Cause tyler (replacement host) he was ok, but was a bit annoying. Vanessa was a great side host. Her and charlie. He was fun and hilarious. I did wish he did more bigger subjects then usual. One that bugged me, that elisha didnt do much adventures at all in the later seasons as much as her co-hosts did. And i wish that the gang did more fun interactions with charlie then they used to. But still, popular mechanics for kids was still a great show and im so happy i got to watch it again!!!!! They need to release the dvd of it soon!
Insidious: The Red Door (2023)
good movie. but it needed more.
I'm a big fan of the insidious franchise ever since i watched the first one on netflix around two years ago.
And i enjoy each sequel after that ever since. I got excited that this sequel (#5) was coming, i couldn't wait to see it. After watching it on dvd, i felt it was good! Happy they brought back the original cast from the first insidious movie, great directing, wonderful cinematography and awesome performances. Im happy to say it carried a much more deeper and darker vibe then the original movie and the earlier sequels did. Also love that they brought back its unofficial theme song "tiptoe through the tulips" by tiny tim. But the story/plotline was missing something. When both dalton and his dad were stuck in the further, the ghosts and the lipstick demon were only coming after dalton's body, while his dad was left untouched. Truthfully, i would've made the ghosts and/or a different kind of demon try to invade the dad's body while also trying to attack mrs. Lambert and their younger son as well and they did their best to fight back. That's what i would've added on to the moment. Anyway, the rest of the movie was good. Happy they also brought back elise rainier in spirit (literally). Again, good movie. But it needed so much more!
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (2023)
brings back great memories
This truly brought the old tradition of the old power rangers show. This movie was one of the most enjoyable bad, cheesy, silly yet touching, moving and fun continuations ever! Im so happy that they brought back some of the original rangers (rocky, aeisha, adam & 2nd pink ranger, cat). Rip to thuy trang (trini, yellow ranger) and jason david frank (green turned white ranger) they will always be part of the power rangers family no matter what!. Others gave it a 3 or 4, but i give it 8/10. GO GO MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to watch the original show again. Hopefully its on netflix.
BloodRayne (2005)
uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm.....................
Truthfully, honestly, i dont know how to describe this movie! Bloodrayne wants to be better, but it didnt get to that level! Wanted that big, giant push forward!
Michelle rodriguez (katharin) she was terrific for awhile. I would actually fight besides her in the battle against the vampires! But it made no sense when she did a 180% and betrayed everybody! If only she had more depth to her and if she lived, survived and still fought against the vampires, even if she was killed fighting, i would enjoyed that!!!!!
Rest of the movie, again, needed more work on the story/ plotline.
I'm not gonna rate it, cause its neither good or bad to me, its inbetween.
Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song (1971)
TOO FAR!!!!!
Truthfully, honestly. Storywise: they took it way too far with the sex scenes! & I don't really feel for bad for sweetback, the police or anybody in the whole movie! Complete inbred degenerates on many different levels!
But I do love the way the movie was made. Psychedelic editing, outside of the box camera work & cinematography, a real 70s vibe I love very much. I give the story a 3, but the style of making the movie a 10.
I really wish they did something a little different with the story/plot. I would not take some scenes too far. I would give most characters more humanity. That's it!!!!!.
Willow (2022)
What was this?
Seriously, WHAT WAS THIS?!
I was hoping it'll have the same spirit & vibe as the namesake movie!. But it was...... UGH! They didn't take making the series deep & serious did they?! Truthfully, the whole story & plotline was conflicting, confusing. And I don't know! And, who picked the songs for the credits?! It doesn't make sense at all.
The plus side, I love how they shot the whole series. The scenary, fx, camera work, cinematography, the costumes, they were all great! If only they were 100×s more focus on the stories/plotlines & characters, the series would've been a whole lot better! 4/10.
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? (1964)
Surprisingly good movie, very misleading title.
I just finished watching the movie. It was actually, a very surprisingly good movie. Cheesy, but very, very good. I enjoyed the musical numbers & the music. The title on the other hand, was very misleading. I thought the movie was gonna be what the title said it would be. But no, it was a fortune teller with people issues, hypnotizing her customers to do her bidding. I did love How her plans backfired at the end! Truthfully, I would've changed the title to something such as..... "FUN AT THE CARNIVAL!" Or something else. Anyway, it was a surprisingly good movie. Ray Dennis steckler did good! A+
X (2022)
Wasn't impressive to me.
Truthfully, I love how they shot the movie, but storywise, it wasn't new or fresh to me.
I actually knew what was gonna happen, the first second of the movie. But I did love the beginning though. Great way to show the aftermath. The main characters, well....... I did feel for them getting killed, but did (& do) not enjoy their views of what they were doing. I was supporting Lorraine (jenni Ortega) but lost interest when jumped onto the "party" wagon. I did feel bad for her getting killed.
I love the girl who did the dual role of Maxine & pearl. In a way, she was fighting herself 😁.
But still, this movie was not my favorite.
Grease 2 (1982)
it was good, but could've been more better.
Truthfully, the movie was great. But i felt it was missing something. After finding out the script was not finished, i now know why it feels incomplete. Seriously, i was annoyed that frenchy, one of the most iconic characters from the 1st grease movie, barely had any screen time.
Honestly, i believe this movie should've been a stand alone movie, not a sequel. That wouldve been great. And if it was me, i complete the script before shooting the movie. And may or may not have frenchy in it. Though it felt more 80's then 60's, i still love the music in it very much!
I give grease 2 a 6 1/2 out of 10.
Magic Island (1995)
The most enjoyable cheesy, silly & fun masterpiece ever!
I'm happy to say, I got to watch this again a few days ago, on the streamer, filmrise. And I joyfully remembered it exactly as it was. It is the most enjoyable cheesy, silly & fun, straight to video masterpiece ever! Truthfully, I haven't seen magic island in a long time. It was one of the few movies I've obsessively rented from blockbusters. Truthfully, I believe I almost made them mad for almost warning out the tape!. Anyway, i am still so happy to watch it again. Bring back great memories. And I love lily the mermaid, she's my most favorite of the bunch. Always Brings positivity in the movie. I give magic island 8/10. I Just love the movie!
Amos & Andrew (1993)
fun, wild and funny from start to finish.
This is (so far) one of the most enjoyable idiotic and extremely funny movies ive ever seen.
Truthfully, honestly. Both samuel l. Jackson and nicolas cage work great together. A unlikely, but wonderful duo and chemistry. They should do more movies together again, soon.
I do feel bad both amos and andrew, especially andrew (samuel l. Jackson) he had the most wildest and messed up night of his life. Andrew has lots of explaining to do to his wife!.
As for amos (nicolas cage) hope he enjoys the ride south to canada!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!
If y'all watch the movie (its on filmrise app) you'll understand.
I love amos & andrew i give the movie 8/10.
Red 11 (2019)
A "what if" situation on a true story. I love it!
Red 11 is one of the greatest movies Robert Rodriguez ever made so far.
I love it that it was (sort of) based on a true story of when Rodriguez became a lab rat for medical drug tests, just to finance his first feature movie "el mariachi"., truthfully. I believe it was worth it!. Also enjoy, that the rest of red 11, was exaggerated. But I believe its a "what if" story. What if the whole incident at the lab, happened THAT way. One more its one of the best original movies I've watched so far. Very funny moments, great directing & cinematography, etc. I give the movie 8/10.
They (2002)
This horror is bliss.
This is one of the greatest PG-13 horror movies of all time. I watched it last night, it was spectacular. Very unpredictable, outside of the box. And the monsters, their origin & why they attack is right to the end, an unexplained mystery. I LOVE IT!. Feel bad for Julia & her friends at the end though. Still, some fairytales do not have happy endings.
Anyway, love how the whole thing was made. The directing, cinematography, acting, the story & plotline, etc. Great movie. Again sad ending, but still, a great movie. I give it 8/10.
Ambulance (2022)
One of the greatest car chase movies ever.
I just got back home from watching ambulance in theaters (been trying to see it for a month), it was one of the greatest car chase movies I've ever seen so far. Though some bits were too fast & bit of some stupid pc BS, but still. Rest of the movie was insanely great. Especially my most favorite girl eiza Gonzalez & her character cam. Eiza owned the whole movie & she gave emts a great name. Along with what she did in dusk till dawn: the series, paradise hills, she's missing, bloodshot, cut throat city, I care a lot & in love spreads, This is one of eiza's greatest performances she done so far. I love cam, she's one of my new favorite characters eiza played. She was the heart & soul of the whole movie. At the beginning, cam forgot why she wanted to be an emt, now after the whole ride, she remembered why she wanted to help people. And cared more again. In a way, will & Danny were cam's guiding angels. Ambulance was (again) one of the greatest movies ever! The directing, cinematography, the car stunts, eiza's performance & her character, were all wonderful from start to finish. Can't wait to see eiza in her new roles coming up soon.
Feardotcom (2002)
Story/plotline: disappointing & confusing
I bought the movie at a goodwill a few days ago, I was curious about it ever since I heard about it. I watched it recently, well.......... The cinematography was spectacular! The fx, the production design, the atmosphere, etc. Were wonderful. The story & plotline though,. Those parts were disappointing. And very confusing. Cause I thought they were going to the killer's website & try to track him down. Instead, the ghost of "the doctor's" first victim, that somehow created a website. And it kills people in 48 hours, after seeing the site. Its very similar to the ring (also 2002). Truthfully, I would've done it differently. Don't know it'll be better, but it'll be very different from what happened in the this movie.
Hands of Stone (2016)
Great movie.
I just finished watching the movie not so long ago, it was a great movie. Enjoyed very bit of it. But one thing that bugged me, that the boxer's wife, felicidad (Ana de armas) don't get me wrong, I love every bit of her scenes i really do. But I wish it showed showed more (then usual) of her as well. Cause felicidad is one of the most important characters of the whole movie. And most important to her husband. Still. I love Ana De armas. She's one of most favorites. She did great in hands of stones. Also love her in knives out, blade runner 2049, overdrive & in knock knock so far. Again, great movie & also great leading lady.
Fear and Desire (1952)
Best first movie ever!
I love & respect Stanley kubrick, he's one of my most favorite directors of all time. But I don't know why he was being so harsh on his own first movie. But if he was still alive today and saw the big movies I've seen,. Kubrick would take all the mean stuff he said about fear & desire. Truthfully, I love fear and desire. Though I admit it was slightly amateurish, but still, its Oscar worthy to me. The story, the acting, the cinematography, the directing. Etc. Watched it last night on tubi, Its a masterpiece.
Knock Knock (2015)
One of Ana de armas's great performances.
When I first saw the trailer for the movie, I was interested in seeing it. After just watching it (finally) earlier today,. It was... Good. Truthfully, I felt it needed more to the story & plotline. Don't get me wrong, it has some of the best twists & turns at the end, but the rest it, needed more. I truly love ana
De armas, she was spectacular in knock knock. Still surprised that it's the same girl who played Marta in knives out!!! & I love her character bell, she's one of the most complex characters I've ever seen. & I love that very much. Bell is the someone you either fall in love with or be scared to death of. I love that bell is somewhere inbetween. Again, I love Ana de armas, I give her a big 10 in this performance & her performance in knives out.
Best Men (1997)
Needed more.
I bought the movie on dvd from a goodwill, 2 days ago. I was curious about it after reading the back of the cover. Watched it yesterday,. Truthfully, it gave me that same vibe from "dog day afternoon". & seriously, what was billy thinking?!, deciding to rob the bank on his friend's wedding day!. & I can't believe that they made the situation more bigger after the mishap. Still, best men was good, but I felt it needed more. But the difference from dog day afternoon and best men are (happy to say) Is that the soon to married marriedcouple escaped!!! And there's two questions that's been buggin' me: what happened to the Vietnam vet that helped Luke Wilson's & drew barrymore's characters escaped? & what happened to teddy? (Andy dick's character) after getting into the ambulance & notifying that he's in in stable condition, teddy just disappeared after that. But one part I really love in the movie, is that they had the bus from "speed" (1994) near the end. And love bus crash, it was awesome!. Anyway, best men was good, but I felt it needed more.
Spirit Untamed (2021)
Needed more of milagro.
Bought the movie yesterday & finally got watch it this morning. It was good. And eiza was spectacular in her 1st animated movie. But I feel it needed more. Especially milagro. I know its lucky's (the daughter) journey & story,. And her mom will always be with her in spirit, but I feel that milagro should be equally important as lucky. They should've added more flashbacks and stories of milagro. So lucky can face your journey even more.
One more thing, I love the song, both eiza & Isabella made (fearless). It was beautiful 100% eiza should do more music again.
