It is silly and unbelievable - but I watch it every Christmas! A great bit of escapism. The Uncle is probably the best actor and the nasty baker is a fun character.

Yes - it is predictable from scene one but why not enjoy out and out sentimentality that is well put together. The acting is quite strong especially of Jordan Bridges. A feel good film to make you smile.

The same old story but the cast if good - especially the incomparable Edward Asner and Tyler Hilton who played Elvis in Walk the LIne. Better than the average Christmas Hallmark movie. It's unusual to see the Bayou in these type of films and it's great to see another part of the US featured.
