I didn't expect much to be honest. It's the typical TV romance movie like so many produced for/and by Hallmark and Reel One. I was actually suprised that movie is technically even better than the vast majority of ROE one. I really can't find a fault - real location in Mexico, subtle usage of stock footage, no horrendous audio issues, and nice Latino music score.
Cast is Latino as it should be and it was fine. No issues with acting either. I really liked directing and camera work. I think it was the best part of the movie with the above mentioned proper audio and video production.
Writing was good except in the Act III, and it ruined a bit of movie for me. With a better one, I could easily give it a 7 (above average), but sadly, Antonio was just really poorly written in the Act III. There are zero excuses for it.
Overall, recommended as a nice summer romance TV movie.

Another day and another TV movie co-produced by Reel One Entertainment and Sunshine Films which suprisingly doesn't suffer from horrific technical issues. Few scenes have audio issues with somewhat problematic Jordan Sanders voice. Music score is passable - some good tracks, some not so. Several scenes have a bit too loud music when cast is talking but it's not on horrendous level like in so many Sunshine Films TV movies. Stock video usage is on bearable level. However, several times there were black dots on it, and I never saw something like that. Filming locations and scenery are top!
Amy Douglass and Jordan Sanders basically acted first time in this movie and as the leads right off the bat. I think they were fine like the most of the cast.
I would say directing is fine, however writing is problematic. This is the first screenplay for Rachel Benaissa and it's rough. Writing is overall solid, but for some reason, and I don't understand why, there were four scenes which were completely out of place for this movie. I mean this is mostly light hearted comedy movie with some added romance and those scenes are some kind of bad comedy / parody. Just few examples like scenes with Mary or at beach (lion scene). Those scenes also destroyed otherwise good pacing. I even used 30 sec skip function how they are bad. On the other hand, there is a good secondary story which had big potential, and instead watching more Sara and Stuart we got those stupid parody scenes.
In the end of day, it's passable one time watch TV movie which had good potential to be above average as location and scenery are top, not so many technical issues, and leads were good enough.
And obligatory don't watch trailer as it's the ROE one and for some unknown reason(s) it shows whole movie compressed.

Another day and another mediocre Reel One Entertainment TV movie. Technically is actually pretty good which I didn't expect as it was co-produced by Almost Never Films which are notorious for the various technical issues. Movie takes place in Georgia and was even shot there. Stock usage was minimal. Heck, they even used signature ROE music which I didn't hear for a long time. It's just overal sad...
I never watched both leads. Actually I think I never watched any member of cast. It was so-so. I guess kid was cute, and Carla Cloud was convincing as obnoxious Allie's mother.
The movie failed spectacularly on writing. It was actually solid/average parody and comedy for at least 2/3 but in the last ~15 min it just imploded, and especially Act III is beyond ridiculous.
