This is real good! binged watched the 8 chapters. The only thing I found was the AV teacher roof on his house has dimensional shingles; not available in the 70tys or early 80tys. But I won't nitpick, the acting is good, the story keeps your attention. The story does have holes but everyone is not me and may not take notice. I will be watching for these new talented young actors. Set in a small town filled with nuclear family's living sheltered lives in Cul-de-sac neighborhoods. And of course you have your top secret Government agency conducting mind alternation experiments on young subjects with trails of misconception and cover ups. A chain smoking sheriff with a broken past. The so called creepy kid that works to support his Mom & little brother. And a gang of 11 ish boys with creative imaginations. This is a mishmash full of sci-fi a little bit of the best, X files,Fire starter,Alien, ET, The Goonies.
No new ideas coming out of Hollywood land. I hate movies where the actors are wearing brand new cloths especially westerns. 1865 the flag should have 36 stars that one don't.The bottle holding ink in the hotel is a Levi Garrett snuff bottle. They were used 1870 until just recently in the last five year glass now plastic. The Indian girl is clearly wearing mascara. The other girl is wearing a strapless bra which wasn't invented yet. The devil wearing shaded glasses again not yet invented.
Other than these few historical mistakes. The story was good to keep your attention. I been on a western kick lately and most of them are pretty bad. This one was just okay. The supernatural twist made it tolerable. There a TV show Wynonna Earp a descendant of Wyatt Earp the effects are better but the acting isn't. I give this 3.5 rating

This was no SyFy production it was actually watchable. Acting was acceptable . Barmaid is easy on the eyes, And lets give thanks to the war experienced Marines. Just another reason we need guns and must protect against all threats being foreign or domestic. Granted the 2 landscapers aren't the two sharpest tools in the shed and I just wanted to smack them in the head at times. Plenty of action but being stupid isn't my idea of comedy.
I always imagine Pterosaur to all have tails some longer than others. I am guessing it a gender thing; but the lack of tail didn't make the smaller "Terrordactyl" any less scary. I would had like to seen more gore but that is what zombie movies are for.
I liked this B movie Indy film. I feel this was good thanks to Don Bitter 111 Visual effects. The CGI wasn't noticeably fake like most shows and movies with a higher budget. I feel the automatic and even pump shotguns should have shell casing discharging; this is often over looked by the director. It would had had a more realistic feel if the streets had more panicking people with car crashes and the highways jamb full of cars. When the streets are desolated it does translate to doom & gloom but also gives a studio instead of on site aura. If you have some time it's worth watching. more fun than washing dishes and some films don't make that cut. I may just watch it again.
