Lost Gold of the Aztecs (2022)
Cave rover project and exploration
Finally someone uses this technology to do what it was built for, the show is a nice change from previous shows and looks like it will be entertaining to watch. I have followed the cave Rover project on it's other media platforms and it makes it possible for mankind to explore areas that cannot be explored safety without such a scientific instruments, the days of using a bird to do humans work is over!! A robot cannot die if it comes in contact with conditions that can kill a live breathing animal or human. I hope we get to see more of this technology thought the season!! More of what Chris Dick can offer the exploration community!!
Lost Gold of the Aztecs: Buried Below (2022)
Cave Rover!!
Great episode, loved the cave Rover and technology that makes it possible for exploration in areas that humans cannot go or should not go depending on what the air quality is like. We need to see more of Chris and his robots and what they can do for mankind in fields where the elements might not be so great for exploration. Great episode, cannot wait to see more!
Departures (2008)
great show...but...
so I just started watching this series on netflix, love the places. the camera man did a better job of showing the places traveled than the travelers. I did not care for the constant search for alcohol, the fact that you cannot go 4 hours on a train in India with ought getting drunk proves you have a serious problem. honestly this portion of the series felt like two frat guys trying to drink as much as possible, which is a horrible representation of traveling and representing a traveling company based of exotic destinations. I would rate this a 10 for cinematography. I almost stopped watching at episode one, drinking constantly, and whining oh poor me a year away from my girlfriend.. grow up, you got to visit great destinations but all you cared about was sleeping and drinking. if you block that part out its a great show.
