This is an incredible production! I could not stop watching it from start to end because it is so realistic and gives a true picture of what life is like for so many that have no choice. Survival is the driving force and Alex is amazing at dealing with each situation one step at t a time and amazing at assessing every step and deciding which direction to take and making sure it was a sturdy and safe place to walk. Her dedication to mothering and everything it takes to achieve it is beyond belief! I'm so glad that she remembered the cabinet that she would hide in. She then realized why she was hiding in it and because she didn't want Maddy to go through everything that she did, she decided against staying with her father who was abusive. She avoided a nightmare from occurring all over again which would have had so much of a negative effect on her by engraving that abuse is a normal way of life.

This is a must watch for anyone who has or is going through any form of abuse. This is such an eye opening story that will help people realize that they are wearing the same shoes and that they need to see that there is always a way to improve their way of life and how important it is to stop that abusive cycle from continuing on and on and on.

Thank you for making this!! We need more shows like this to wake up people out of their abusive sleep cycle.

This is clearly a very inexpensively made movie that doesn't want to represent anything but violence. If that's what you're looking for, then this is the one for you! However, for the rest of us, this has some of the worst acting I've ever seen which leads me to my main thought. What would ever make a notable actor like Morgan Freeman take the part that he did? First of all, he's not known for being the "bad guy" and an actor's reputation always dictates your perception of the character they are portraying. It seems that he has lowered his expectations as an actor and now I don't know what to expect when I see his name anymore. Truly sad to be honest. He has had some of the most respectable roles in his time.

Anyway, this movie is generally garbage and really isn't worth watching.

I truly can't imagine why Chuck would even allow himself to be seen in this. The level of acting is below that of earthworms.

One of the worst films I've ever seen. Storyline is complete garbage. Fighting was so predictable and unexciting. It puts the term science fiction to shame by the lack of imagination and attention to detail. There's no unpredictable outcome that keeps you in suspense.

I fell asleep several times through this and will use it again if I have trouble falling asleep some nights.

I can't even think of other ways to describe how bad this was. What a complete waste of time it was to watch!
