The Most Reluctant Convert (2021)
Excellent!
My wife and I were part of a full house for the first showing at our theater. The movie was beyond our hopes and expectations. Acting is superb, costumes are perfect, music is just right. We loved the way they maintained the feel of the "one man show" while telling this amazing story of one of our favorite writers. Well done!
The Chosen (2017)
Very Unique Way To Tell the Gospel Story
The creator, writer, editor, actors and others involved in The Chosen have created a unique and very well done telling of the "Gospel" Story, based on the persons you read about in the New Testament. I love the "creative imagining" of what the different characters from the New Testament might have looked like, talked like, and interacted with others. The actor portraying Jesus is excellent. I am hopeful more episodes will be filmed.
No Greater Love (2015)
Powerful Documentary
My wife and I watched a screening of No Greater Love last night. It is well made. The interviews of the soldiers during and post combat were powerful. I am not sure how this chaplain got permission to take a camera into combat, but he did. It can be difficult to watch but please do. The bravery and sacrifice by these men and women are a true inspiration. As one officer said of the sacrifice of one of his soldiers, "where do men like this come from?" They come from homes across this nation, every color, and from many different faith backgrounds. The closing scenes of the reunion back at Fort Campbell were perfect. Well done, Chaplain.
