You will get lost in this movie thanks to the superb acting and teamwork. One can easily feel the cold, silence, and hopelessness amid the wildness of the territory and human nature. The lead actor perfectly reflects all emotions, as does the lead actress, although her role is not as extensive as his. I felt a bit uncomfortable at the beginning; however, the method of presentation was quite diligent and sensible, so those stresses were quickly resolved. The cinematography was great. I am quite fond of films that do not use too much music, and this one is another good example. The scene where Samet wanted to turn the lights off should be watched over and over again. I may not know the exact terminology in cinematic terms, but it was quite impressive. Well done.
In 1970s Turkey, the life struggle and quest for love of a talented female artist who grew up without a father. In this profoundly tragic story, set against the backdrop of family pressures and the distorted values of a male-dominated society, you will question the meaning of 'honor'. You will shed tears. When it comes to the production, the cast and the story look quite neat in overall manner. To be honest, I would expect Farah to perform a more sentimental acting, knowing her personal perspective against violence while Erdal Besikcioglu was much much better than "good". He has been always a an actor of such characters.
Cem YILMAZ is one of the most controversial writer, actor or comedian in Turkey because of his history which is full of laughter of the audience. When it comes to movies almost everyone gets disappointed because of this history. Everybody expects to LoL indefinitely during the movies or any kind of show that he takes part or produces. However I found the series really funny as well as the neat and diligent work behind the scenes. The team is amazing. There are lots of veiled jokes you may discover and in my opinion these are pieces of art.
