RayRoy8's rating
In an era where horror movies often rely on jump scares and clichéd tropes, this film stands out as a perfect horror masterpiece. From the very beginning, I was captivated by the natural and outstanding performances of the entire cast. The well-thought-out script and exemplary direction created a suspenseful yet unhurried pace that allowed the story to unfold with an organic and engrossing flow.
The film's slow build-up masterfully heightened the tension, keeping me glued to the screen all the way through. What truly sets this movie apart is its powerful impact achieved without any over-dramatization. The subtlety and nuance in the storytelling made the presence of evil palpable and all-consuming, proving that true horror lies in the unseen and the psychological.
In essence, this movie is a testament to the art of horror filmmaking, demonstrating that evil truly does rule you as you watch. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuinely terrifying yet deeply immersive experience.

A Riveting Exploration of Psychological Tension!
This psychological thriller delves deep into the human psyche, offering a hauntingly realistic portrayal of fear and paranoia. It's baffling that this film holds such a low rating, as it masterfully captures the essence of real-life horror, leaving viewers on edge long after the credits roll.
From the very beginning, the film sets a slow, deliberate pace that gradually builds tension. This measured storytelling allows for a profound exploration of the characters' mental states, immersing the audience in their world. The storyline is meticulously crafted, weaving together elements of suspense and psychological intrigue. As the plot unfolds, it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish between reality and imagination, a testament to the film's powerful narrative.
The impact of this movie was so profound that I found myself compelled to check my basement and other rooms, just to reassure myself of my own safety. This visceral reaction is a clear indication of the film's effectiveness in creating a palpable sense of dread. It's rare for a movie to evoke such a strong, physical response, but this one certainly succeeded.
The acting in this film is nothing short of exceptional. Despite the absence of household names, the cast delivers performances that are both natural and compelling. They bring a raw, unfiltered authenticity to their roles, making it easy to forget that you're watching a movie. Instead, it feels as though you are an unseen participant in the unfolding drama.
In conclusion, this film's ability to evoke real, visceral reactions from me as an audience is a testament to its quality. The low rating it has received is inexplicable, as it stands out as a genuinely gripping and thought-provoking piece of cinema. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers that challenge your perception of reality and keep you guessing until the very end, this movie is a must-watch. It's a haunting experience that will linger in your mind long after you've finished the movie.

Definitely a low budget film and the actors playing Kim and Izzy did a good job compared to other stoic actors.
It's definitely a one time watch without too much expectation. Also you are not missing much if you skipped this movie. The script could easily be tweaked for few scary moments and they could have played story behind the necklace and a history a little bit more. Not sure why they couldn't add more story around the hole in the wall, necklace...:(
Direction was not bad for a very limited basic script. I felt there was no motivation to improvise the script and they went with the first write. Did the ideas from others involved in the movie not heard or they were too scared to say hey let's add more here , there ...every where.
Lol Just 25% more tweak with story line would have made this a decent movie.
Not every low budget film can be a hit like Paranormal Activity.
