Carotis's rating
"Last Call for Istanbul" fails to live up to its cinematic promises, delivering a lackluster narrative that struggles to engage its audience. The film's plot meanders without clear direction, leaving viewers bewildered rather than captivated. The characters lack depth, making it difficult to invest emotionally in their journeys. The pacing is uneven, leading to moments of boredom followed by rushed scenes that leave little room for meaningful development. Furthermore, the film's attempts at social commentary feel forced and superficial, adding an unnecessary layer of complexity without contributing to the overall coherence of the story. "Last Call for Istanbul" ultimately falls short of expectations, leaving audiences questioning the purpose and impact of the cinematic journey they've just experienced.
It didn't happen. Unfortunately, Turkish TV series always fall under the bar. It is impossible to get used to bad and fake acting. Bad adaptation of the imitation script is the other negative thing.
Please don't waste your time and money on such fake serials. Do little but do it yourself. Even the extras are bad. Why why why? Does Disney have a lot of money?
Maybe it would be helpful to send the actor and director somewhere for training. What are those fake conversations between the driver and the woman? The leading actress is unfortunately a disaster..Sorry for the truth. Maybe that can help...

Sometimes funny, but often dramatic. The director follows in the footsteps of his old famous films. It can be called the younger version of L' Auberge Espagnole. But how many times can you bathe in the same water? The subject and the flow are clear. There is no surprise. Young players are very successful. But most of all, Yellowstone's Kelly Reiley lights up the screen.
Good to see Athens. But Athens would not be so squalid and ugly. Immigration policies seem like a piece of sauce on the show. The dressing on the Greek salad. You can watch it if you have free time.
It is one of the remarkable international works that Amazon Prime has done recently.
