Just like other reviewers here, I tend to agree with them. There is absolutely nothing of quality to this movie. Ever since watching modern romanian movies I'm starting to seriously think I can actually direct better movies. I'm positive I can think of subjects more intriguing than a bunch of drunks around a table talking absolute nonsense. And what's with these long and boring scenes where the camera just sits recording absolutely nothing?! For minutes on end I'm looking at bushes in the wind, dogs eating from a table, characters staring into the void silently.... It feels like amateurs trying to copy Tarkovsky's style. But the problem is that filming such moments is not enough to create a great scene. It just feels like you are mimicking art instead of actually doing it. Please just try harder and think of something remotly original dear mister Achim.
I do not understand what goes on in this director's mind. This honestly looks like a movie directed from an arts student in his first month of school. What is the use of filming absolutely nothing for minutes on end? Is this supposed to make it feel like real life? It's absolutely depressing, it does not even give you the smallest feeling of looking at something even remotly artistic or realistic. It's not worth your time, take my word for it. Movies like these should not even exist, it honestly feels like they are trying to give the impression of something sophisticated when there is actually, truly nothing there. How directors are making money doing this is beyond me. Maybe they should try video blogs instead, at least it would be more realistic.
