Trap (2024)
Please rewrite the logline LOL
The logline completely misses what the movie was truly about:
"A man and his teenage daughter realize they're at the center of a dark and sinister event while watching a concert."
The "man" doesn't realize anything-he's the Butcher! Thanks to the bad writing, this is revealed within 10 minutes, leading to pointless scenes of him trying to escape and portraying SWAT and FBI agents as incompetent and clueless in every scenes.
The plot was uninspiring, with flat storytelling, no emotional depth, and weak directing. As for the acting, most scenes were painful to watch.
I understand this was a promotion for the director's daughter, who, while having good stage presence and dancing skills, isn't a strong actress. Some of the songs were enjoyable despite the harsh reviews.
The Fall Guy (2024)
It's an action-comedy...
I didn't see the original 80s TV show, but despite reading many bad reviews, I decided to give this movie a shot because of the actors and the trailer.
It's an action movie, and while there are different subcategories within the genre, I don't understand the hate. It's an action-comedy, so don't expect to think much. You watch it for the ACTION, which they delivered on from start to finish. The action sequences were creative and fresh.
The film did drag in places and felt forced at times, with some plot holes, but overall, it was still entertaining. The interactions between Ryan and Emily were fun, and they both performed well in their roles.
While some scenes were stronger than others, that's okay.
Big applause to the stunt crew, wardrobe and set designers, lighting crew, as well as the video editors, for the stunning visuals and colors too.
IF (2024)
Cailey Fleming is awesome
I think it's a nice movie, full of awesome ideas and execution. The acting is great, especially from Cailey Fleming. I have never seen her before and I was a bit concerned since the teen actors tend to overact these days, but Cailey was so natural and believable. She was the perfect fit for this role.
Kudos to the other actors too; Ryan Reynolds could have overpowered her, but he stayed true to his role, and let her shine.
Indeed, there were some plot holes and missed potential in some scenes, but overall it's a great one-time watch movie. Big congrats to the folks who worked on the effects; they did a great job.

The worst English dubbing in history
The show was okay, not thrilling at all, very predictable, sometimes even boring.
The English dubbing of most of the characters was horrible. I understand that it's difficult to dub overacting which happened quite often in this show, but cmon. It's full of annoying voices and whinings, awkward and badly translated dialogues and scripts, worse than horrible, amateur mixing. And why haven't cast the VSI voice actors whose voices actually match with the age of the characters at least? E.g. For the old guy (001).
Plus there was only one "non-asian" player. A pakistanian. The bad VIPs of course had to be white, LOL. Cmon...
Moonfall (2022)
My brain has shrunk
My brain has shrunk -.- to pea size... -.-
This movie and script was sooo baaad! Literally, painful to watch the badly edited cliche scenes, the acting, it was painful to listen to the horrible and forced convos. It's trying so hard in every way... The jokes? Please! I think I chuckled on one, but I don't remember which one because it wasn't memorable. I tried so hard to like it, but as the movie progressed, I was like: "cmon, really?" "Omg, that was so baaad!"
Anyways...
Please, don't make a second one if you planned to...

Morbius (2022)
Exciting trailer, uninspired movie, 0 blood
Vamp movie with no blood?! -.-
I know only very little about the Marvel stories, I haven't heard about this character until I saw the trailer a few months ago.
I always liked Adria's and Jared's acting, so I was excited about this movie.
I went to pump up my blood pressure with some good actions. Well, my BP stayed at 90/60. It would have been even lower if I hadn't drank 2 liters of cola in my boredom. And believe me, I'm very easy to please!
I'm sure lots of work went into it, and it's definitely not 1/10. However, as much as I really wanted to enjoy it, after 15 minutes, I could have told that would happen in the next 90 minutes, even with close to 0 knowledge of Marvel characters.
The shirtless scene was nice - lol - I gave an extra star for that. :))
The actors did their bests I guess, the CGI, and the makeups were fine for me, and there were a few great sound effects and cam angle shots as well, but the music lacked of creativity, and I really missed the action, the BLOOD, and exciting wow scenes which would have made me want to watch it again. It won't happen, unfortunately.
Huang's World (2013)
Please, give me a break...
I'm still trying to figure out what this show is exactly about. There are 100s of better shows than this with way more content which should have the "VICE" stamp. I gave an extra star just because of the post-editing.
Eddie Huang was very unprofessional, offensive and disrespectful in many episodes, especially when he was singing the God Bless America from a piece of paper, and he was literally laughing during the song. I'm not American, but it is unacceptable in any country.
Why is he called a cultural critic??? Please, give me a break!
Chuck's World (2016)
We love gluten-free people! 🙄 LOL!!!
It has just popped up on a streaming network, and I absolutely love it!
It's interesting, fun aaand delicious. It's not just another cooking show. You can get a little peak into everydays people's lives in different cultures, listen to their stories and realize that hand-labor will be always valuable. All these makes each episode even more authentic and real.
And of course foods, foods, foods! They are mainly simple dishes, but I guarantee that they will make your mouth water, maybe even hop into the kitchen and make a juicy roast... yumm
Music, editing and narrative are very cool and pro too, I had so much fun watching it.
Please make new episodes!!! 🙏🏻
Headspace: Guide to Meditation (2021)
Great animations, useful practices, forced and annoying narration
It's a very interesting, useful, must see documentary, probably was made to boost the popularity of their app. The animation and the music is amazing and entertaining, however the narration isn't my favorite at all. It might be the dialect or the tone of voice (sorry Andy), and I wouldn't care if it wasn't about meditation, but one of the most important aspect to focus on should be the approach of the guide. The narration while doing the practices should be calming and relaxing, but it's rather strange and feel very very forced and makes me annoyed.
The OA (2016)
Finally something interesting and DIFFERENT!
Finally something interesting and DIFFERENT. I'm glad creativity and imagination still exist. Great job overall!
Occupation (2018)
I didn't even noticed when the movie was over
I started to watch it. 5 minutes later I just lost interest. It run in the background, and I didn't even noticed when the movie was over, lol.
What happened? Did we win? Most probably lol. Who cares? Music was fine.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
Nothing that I didn't already know
Waste of time. Nothing that I didn't already know. There're 100s of movies and shows like this, lots of them eventually carries more information without less drama or superfical speaches...
