Honestly, he is one of the few actors who just by their pure hatred for those who don't agree with him, all I can see is his smug, self-righteous BS.
He can't be a new character. Hebcan only be conservative hater Deniro. I can't even pretend he is not just a heaping steaming pile of crap.
That being said, it just isn't very good. Great aftors poorly cast. All victims of being next to DeNiro.
Valerie and Alex' character were well acted. President Mitchell was not Presidential. Seriously does every current president in a tv show have to be a woman? We get it. But Angela Basseet was not the fiit.
And the ending sucked.

I think this series has gotten some unearned bad reviews. It's nothing like the movie, and it definitely is a broadcast show and a little more family friendly. Then you would expect I for one however have enjoyed the episodes a lot more than I thought I would. The effects are good. The action is good. The spy stuff is fun and the actors connect. Ginger does a great job and I for one think it should be rated higher. I guess if you go into it, not expecting the movie and watching a nice generic spy, thriller it is somewhat satisfying, it definitely isn't the hit of the year, but it is a fun watch. The character Gib, who I know from "Ballers" is the most fun and Beverly D'Angelo still rules. A good watch for broadcast TV. It's no FBI, but it is entertaining.
By far, this blows any season of Dexter away. This is definitely a launching pad for future greatness! Don't sleep on this. Dexter at its peak! Harrison's story line is epic. I can't wait for the finale.
