This was one of the wierdest movie expirience of my life. Everything, every move, every dialog and all characters seemed off and yet it is one of the best movies i have ever saw. Love the soundtrack, actors, especialy that guy who played Napoleon (he must be ether genius or absolut freak), but the others were great too. I loved every second of this masterpiece and the ending was so heartwarming i was slightly tearing up. One of the movies you will love or hate, but in any case it is must see.
By the way, Napoleon got some sick moves.

I personally consider Harry Potter books masterpiece, work of art by one of the best story teller of my generation. The movies could not been done better, no matter how many times a watched them, they dont lose any of its magic.
This boring and confusing movie does not have any magic to begin with, the story is really confusing, the script is laughable in very bad way and for me the main hero is one of the most unsympathetic characters...Voldemort have better charisma than this dude.
The world of Harry Potter deserves other stories, something like this but for real this time...Please miss Rowling, you had your fun.

First of all, for those who are reading this and did not see this comedy gold, I am pretty sure and hope you are not from Czech Republic or at least you do not understand that language. If so, I would say go learn it. You wont ever propably use it in real life , but just for this 90 minutes of pure conversation gold, it is worth it.
The play is cut in to halfs. The first half is not clasical theatre performances, but more of a lecture about Jára Cimrman. The greatest genius that never lived, yet his inventions are legendary. They had really worked on his story of a simple village genius from little country, having good intentions and big plans. But same as his country, he was everywhere surrounded by those who were bigger, richer, more famous and powerfull. He was sometimes used and sometimes just laugh at, but there was no doubt, that his ideas were ahead of his time. For example, his theory of Externism, can be found on wikipedia. He has his page on wikipedia written as he was real person. Well, in many ways he is for me more real and important, than most of the long dead scientest and inventors I only saw on the internet.
Second half is play, where actors are actors and viewers are viewers as a part of the story. It makes unique feeling, because actors can openly aknowlidge viewers and throw a few jokes in there way as a part of a play. It is story about theater ansamble that lost 2 actors and premier of a new play is coming. They asked legendary actor Karel Práchenský (played by Zdenek Sverák) to play with them as a stand-in. Here starts 40 minute of pure fun. If there were only this amazing and original script, it would be great fun, but Mr. Sverák is in a role that must be a nightmare for an skilled actor as himself....he playes an exaggerating actor, who keeps forgeting his lines or is mixing them with other different (real) plays. He had amazing roles in movies like Vrátné Lahve or Oscar award winning Kolja, but for this one I respect him the most.
There is soooo much I could writte about this masterpiece....2 legends of scriptwriting, amazing actors and great friends, who worked together and had fun as a team. They could have writte and traine as long as they wanted and there was no one to push them.
