The new Miraculous movie was a mixed bag for me. While there were elements that I enjoyed, certain aspects left me feeling rather underwhelmed. One of the major disappointments was Ladybug girl's singing voice. It seemed noticeably different from the original actress's voice, leading me to believe that they might have used someone else's voice for the singing parts. Personally, I would have much preferred sticking with the original actress's singing voice for a more seamless and authentic experience.
Beyond that, I couldn't help but notice that the movie had an abundance of singing. It felt like there was an excessive number of musical numbers, which, at times, overshadowed the main narrative. While musical elements can add charm and emotion to a film, in this case, it became a distraction and hindered the plot's progression.
Additionally, the movie suffered from an issue of pacing. There were moments where the story seemed to meander, and unnecessary scenes added to the runtime without contributing significantly to character development or the overall plot. These moments of fluff made the viewing experience feel a bit disjointed and could have been better utilized to build a more compelling storyline.
In summary, while the new Miraculous movie had its enjoyable moments, the flaws in Ladybug girl's singing voice, the overwhelming abundance of singing, and the presence of unnecessary fluff kept it from becoming the stellar cinematic experience it could have been. Despite these shortcomings, I still appreciate the effort and creativity that went into the movie and hope that future installments can address these issues to deliver a more cohesive and engaging story for the fans to enjoy.

My kids loved it, but my wife and me, not so much. The only saving grace is that it has quite a few 80's and 90's pop culture references. Those were fun.
This has some iconic actors and it's totally for all the family to watch. It's super mild, my 3 year old really liked it and didn't get scared at all.
The show is super weird and quirky. There is this one super silly fight scene that made my kids laugh.
I will say that the goose's voice is pretty annoying, and the show could have done better without him. I literally have nothing left to say about this show. How the heck did they convince these big name actors to play in this movie?
