"Meta" is ambitious, but it delivers on every level. And I mean really on every level :D Yesilkayas story in a story in a story, which are actually the same stories intertwined, seems Nolan-esque at its finest and stands as one of the best "Tatort" episodes I've ever seen! The two lead actors deliver a great portrayal of two stereotyped cops, but thats just a favor for the whole story! Yes, it has its flaws, but if you see it as a whole, you appreciate this complex and thrilling story!

The TV trailer and the description were so promising, but what did I expected from a German TV movie.. The idea was so promising with so much thought-provoking potential. But the whole story was wasted in a soap opera in a refugee camp. Could've been a dystopian brain scratcher, but it's like every other we get in German TV production. Two stars for the nice idea of an upside down refugee crisis, but zero for the execution...
