Palm Beach (2019)
Wonderful scenery and music
I did not see this movie in a theatre but on TV. And whilst some of the reviewers did not like it all, because it was all about wealthy sixty odd people. But I enjoyed it and as I know that Bryan Brown and Sam Neill are good mates, I wasn't disappointed. It was a great cast to see all together and although the story was bit obvious, i enjoyed it. Very typical Australian lifestyle !!
Enchanted April (1991)
A big surprise
I do not believe that this film was released in Australia but whe I saw it in a rather blurry film on Utube I just loved and loved how the four actresses gradually came to love each after a month in Portofino and who wouldn't. It is a gem and so atmospheric, with gardens making a super background depicting a love easy loung like holiday. Lottie's Immediate get her husband over immediately showed that he did indeed love, and I think his career will increase now in a much different way. I really thought that Miranda would have a tempestuas affair with mr. Briggs, but I think he was interested in Miranda at first, she realised that the arrival of her husband, Mr. Arbuthnot, with an excuse, changed everything and thus we find carol and Briggs alone together. Well no one can resist MichaeL Kitchen at any time, so it was an inevitable liaison of two lonely people.
Of course, mrs fisher was really the star and Joan Plowright's change from a grump woman to some who was just divine was wonderful. I saw it on Utube and the picture was not too hot, so have got the DVD and I know it will again be a delight to watch. An enviable way to spend time to patch up things in your life by just getting out of that box, loved it
The Age of Adaline (2015)
My best for a happening
I cam upon this film y accident, but it intrigued me particularly the reasons why Miss Bowman stayed the same. I just continued and I thought it a lovely gentle film with so any problems ... MICHAEL Huisman is very good in the part with his gentle persuasion together with her elderly daughter. It was just a lovely gentle film, classy, a beautiful home in the country with everything and a happy ending - perfect. The grey hair ...tells it all !
