I was really waiting for this as I am the huge fan od 1995 and 2007 version for which both of them I would give 10/10 but this really didn't suit me well. I love Dakota as an actress, she is really lovable and sweet but there was no chemistry between the two leads no whatsover and so many other things that I just didn't like...her drinking so much, her talking to the camera, than Mr. Elliot, lady Rusell (I don't mind the actors they are really really great don't get me wrong but the choice doesn't suit the time period the drama occurs for real, it is somehow too much). I don't know but when I finished it I realised that I wouldn't watch it again as per older versions of Persuasion I would gladly like to watch them over and over again because when I watch them especially 2007 version it leaves me the true feeling of love and hope and the music is so great in that one. I think 5/10 is a fine grade from me considering all the things I didn't like that much.

All is said in my capture..if you love romantic period dramas you will love this one too. I know that many of viewers were disapointed by the way season 1 ended but I must say that I really loved the season 2 as well and I will be waiting for season 3 hopefully soon.
