I was never really interested in DC movies, (except for Tim Burtons Batman), so I was skeptical about Wonder Woman. I was genuinely shocked at how good this movie was! The acting is good, it has good humor, the action is exciting, and the plot is really entertaining. Granted, it is no Guardians of The Galaxy, but it was still pretty awesome. Personally, I wished to see more mythology on the Greek gods and Princess Diana in this film, but the WWI parts are still interesting. The costumes were historically correct, and the music fit perfectly. Plus, the villains were pretty wicked. The film also had a great message about good and evil as well. I hope to see more Wonder Woman films in the future, and hopefully there will be more lore as well. I honestly can't see why there would be hate on this. Ah well, I guess a movie about a badass Amazon princess trying to stop World War I by killing a Greek god isn't for everyone. I recommend this movie to fans of superhero, war, and action movies. Adventure Time is, and always will be, a masterpiece. This show has the perfect blend of sci-fi and fantasy with a magical wonderland set in a post-apocalyptic world. Nothing is always as it seems in the whimsical land of Ooo, and there are many mysteries to be solved. I will admit, the show is very strange, and some episodes are creepy. However, the shows strangeness and slight creepiness reminds me of the original Grim fairy tales. Every character has their own backstory, so don't judge a book by its cover. The show also has a kinda warped sense of humor, but it's still funny. Sadly, the show is ending soon, but don't worry! Adventure Time is sure to live on in other forms of entertainment such as comics, video games, and maybe even in other shows. If you are new to the show, you have plenty of seasons to keep you occupied. This show is definitely worth checking out, but I will advise you that it may creep out younger children. I recommend Adventure Time to fans of Gravity Falls, Bravest Warriors, and Over The Garden Wall (vise versa if you are an AT fan looking for something new to watch). Steven Universe is by far one of Cartoon Networks best triumphs. I do like the show, but it does have a few elements that are quite annoying. If I had to sum up SU in four words they would be odd, musical, emotional, and intriguing. There are a few parts of SU I like, while others...not so much. I love the plot of the show. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that it is very interesting and mysterious. I also love the whole concept with the gems. I know there may be controversy on whether the show is lesbian or not, but here's how I view it. Technically, the gems bodies are illusions, as was stated in the show, so they are gender less. If you think about it, they can't be gay OR straight if they don't have a sex. They aren't even beings that reproduce sexually or asexually. All of them are referred to as "shes", but I think of the more masculine gems as "hes". So there. No more controversy :). One thing that annoys me about SU is that it is SO EMOTIONAL. I can not think of ONE episode where no one cries or gets into a huge argument in the first few seasons. Seriously, it seems to me that all of the characters are pmsing bad. Another thing is the songs. Don't get me wrong, I do love some of the songs, but they overkill with singing in this series. It's even worse than Disney. Frankly, it gets annoying. Thankfully, these issues do fade in newer seasons, but let me tell you, the first season is rough. I'm glad this show has such a great plot and interesting characters because otherwise I probably would have ditched it long ago. In later seasons, the emotions are toned down, the music gets less annoying, the animation gets better, and the plot is more prominent. If you are wanting to check out SU, I would suggest you power through season one and get to the better seasons before you judge. Overall, SU is like a sci-fi Disney fairy tale. I would suggest this show to fans of Star vs The Forces of Evil, Adventure Time, and Disney movies. This title gets a thumbs up from CriticalBunniez 👍
